Dam-Funk @ Union Pool
Union Pool already has a taco truck, so It might have been physically impossible to get a low-ridin' Impala to bounce in that outdoor courtyard. But I'm guessing that's what was needed last night (10/26) to complete the atmosphere of a surprise appearance from electronic-funk great Dam-Funk & Master Blazter with DJ Matthewdavid and Lone Wolf & Cub. Here are some pictures of the party.
The show, announced yesterday, followed a show at Highline Ballroom with Matthewdavid the night before and was part of a string of East Coast dates for the Westside-Zapp & Roger-devotee. All tour dates and more pictures from last night's show are below...

Why did I spend $15 and travel to Highline Ballroom tuesday when I could have walked a few blocks to Union Pool? Ugh I hate surprises
