David Liebe Hart

David Liebe Hart is a puppeteer, actor, songwriter, sign painter, musicainist, and street entertainer from Los Angeles. He is best known for his long running public access show, performing outside the Hollywood Bowl with his puppets, and his frequent appearances on The Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! on Cartoon Network. Everyone has CMJ regrets. Mine? Missing David Liebe Hart at Pete's Candy Store on 10/21. The Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! regular played the Brooklyn venue as part of The David Leibe Hart Band, so luckily he has added another FREE show, this time at the MISHKA storefront in Williamsburg on 10/25 at 7PM (350 Broadway, Brooklyn). More details are in the flyer below.

The David Liebe Hart performance at Pete's was awesome. There were maybe at most a dozen people in the room? That guy Adam Papagan did seem to be a bit to openly disrespectful to him though. I'm going to imagine it can't be easy to tour with Liebe Hart but it doesn't make anyone look good when you are giving him shit and being impatient with him on stage.

He opened for Shonen Knife at Public Assembly on Saturday, no? I would've gone but got stuck in the L train underground FOR AN HOUR!!!!!!!!

Saw him at Maxwell's, awesome dude. Adam is always a dick to him, gotta keep that nigga in check though. David asked me to take pictures of trains in Hoboken for him, he's not all there lol

He played Cake Shop on Saturday to about 10 people. The sad thing is that the guy is pretty much delusional, but seems to believe everything he says about himself.
