Gogol Bordello playing New Year's Eve shows in NYC (and other dates)

Gypsy punks Gogol Bordello have various internationl dates scheduled in November and December, and will be returning to NYC to celebrate the new year like they've done for the past few years. These shows will take place on December 30 and 31 at Terminal 5. Tickets go on sale Friday (10/14) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (10/12) and the band are giving you an option to donate $1 to Doctors without Borders with the purchase of a ticket.

Saw these guys once, gypsies picked my pockets, I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, no money, no food, no drink, didn't have my atm card, my credit card, no phone, it was terrible, probably the worst experience of my life.

me - 422 am- um, less of the sarcasm please mate - if you read down you would see that the nov 3rd, start of tour show is a benefit where the band are donating everything to vermont for damage caused by the storm

you seem so astute 422 I really wish you had posted two minutes earlier as it would make everything so much easier

gogol bordello have both publically and privately donated money and time to various haitian, roma, turkish, ukraine, beazilian charities, including putting a kid through college and being blacklisted by the local goverment in Istanbul for performing a free awareness concert at Sukule, a refugee camp that was due to be demoslihed.

However 'me 4.22am' you got to use mother fucker on a public forum so are obviously so much cooler than they are!

talk about a band that ONLY tours for the money, nothing worse than when the bands you like never tour but you see shit like gogol bordello coming around to the tri-state once every 2-3 months, and I heard Creed is going to be at MSG on NYE
