wow - no Here Come the Bastards. Interesting.

How was the crowd? Last time I saw Primus (maybe 1992?) it was also at Roseland and the crowd was the most insane and violent crowd I'd ever seen.

great show, new album does well live. Crowd wasnt too rediculous, no broken bones

I tried. I really really tried, honestly, to like Primus. Even before Les' steam punk schtick.

Couldn't do it.

Hope the kids had fun, though.

Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, damn!

Bummed that I had to miss this show. Oh well, next time.

Thanks for the merch shots, get to plan out my purchases in advance...

Those posters went fast 200 total available.

It was a really diverse crowd. Punks, hippies, kids, older folks. The place was absolutely packed to maximum capacity. Security was helping pull people over teh railing up front, because they were getting crushed.

Primus went on around 8:45, and played til almost midnight, with about a 30 minute break between sets.

"Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, damn!"

I hit that.

what about radiohead?

where is the drummer pic BV? give your spot to people who dont have ticket if you can only take this amateur shot.

Yeah... drummer photo/info is pretty important seeing as how it's not Brain or Tim Alexander. Last time I saw them ( maybe three years ago) they played for an hour and it was really bad. I heard they kicked ass this time around.

Ler switched to a Telecaster huh, cool.

Not-so-relevant thought of today:

Would be cool if the "You Can't Kill Michael Malloy" music was played on the overhead after the show ended.

@1:06. Photographer here...I took several shots of the drummer. If you want a glimpse of a portion of his face in the dark with 90 percent of it behind cymbals, send me your email address and I'll be happy to send them to you.

If you weren't at the show, it was really dark, with atmospheric lighting not pointed on the band. Shooting at f1.8 the photos were still very dark. The lack of photos of Jay is not from lack of trying.

amazing show, the first set had the entire crowd jumping and rocking out at the drop of a hat.

second set they really showcased where they're at now and the different sounds they were able to put into the new album. really an amalgamation of everything primus to this point.

ive seen them in roseland at least 6 times since 1995 and this ranked right up there. dont hate, primus sucks.
