Psychic Ills

Psychic Ills have emerged from their Brooklyn den of hallucinogens to confirm Hazed Dream, the band's latest LP and first for Sacred Bones, available NOW. The LP marks their first venture with Sacred Bones and it's their first long-player since 2009's Mirror Eye. Stream Hazed Dream in its entirety below, and check out the video for "Mind Daze" which rears its head for the first time here.

Psychic Ills will join Exitmusic in supporting The Black Angels at their third of three nights at Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 31st (and yes, Psychic Ills will be in costume!). Tickets are still available for that and the other two Angels shows at MHoW which feature Spindrift & Golden Animals, and Dead Meadow & Spindrift on 10/29 & 10/30 respectively.

In addition, Psychic Ills will head next door one day later for the Dragonslayer: The Movie release party with Endless Boogie. No advance tickets are on sale for this 11/1 show at Public Assembly.

Check out the new Psychic Ills video, and Hazed Dream album stream below.

If you watched more than 5 minutes of Four Tet you'd know it wasn't "knob turning". He wasn't pushing play and jumping around like a moron (looking at you John Maus). Of course, people are going to react initially to someone moving around on stage but after further inspection it's the MUSIC that matters, right?
