Yes, that is Rancid's Lars Fredriksen
Rancid's Tim Armstrong is putting on a musical theatre series, complete with dance numbers, singing and more costumes than a Lady Gaga concert... Tim Timebomb's RockNRoll Theater rivals anything currently showing on Broadway. Paying homage to classic American musicals, the series finds Rancid's main man leading a variety of actors and musicians through a string of suspenseful story lines. Each segment features extensive song and dance numbers, with frenzied tunes and rousing moves that are wrapped in a dark, sexy edge. Armstrong acts as host, guiding the audience through the shows; yes, Twilight Zone fans, our hero has been deemed a "punk rock Rod Serling"...Look for it on VEVO on 10/21. Or don't. Trailer is below.
"Dante," the first episode of Tim Timebomb's RockNRoll Theater, brings the 14th Century epic poem Dante's Inferno up to 21st Century speed with a new take on greed and corporate corruption. Starring AFI frontman Davey Havok, Rancid guitarist and vocalist Lars Frederiksen and CSI star Robert David Hall, this one provides a glimpse at just how fun this series is going to get. -[VEVO]
