The Lemonheads at Bowery earlier this month (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)
Lemonheads

The Lemonheads are currently on a tour performing It's A Shame About Ray which recently brought them to a disastrous Bowery Ballroom show (10/9) and a much better one at the same venue a day later (10/10). They'll continue to tour for the next couple of weeks before heading overseas for a UK tour. After that tour, they'll play more North American shows including one in Brooklyn on January 11 at Knitting Factory, where they'll again perform It's A Shame About Ray. Tickets for the Brooklyn show go on sale Friday (10/21) at noon.

Updated dates and a video from the 10/10 Bowery Ballroom show below...

"...where they'll again perform It's A Shame About Ray" should be "where they'll perhaps finally perform It's A Shame About Ray".

Surprised he'd add more dates considering how bad the shows are on this tour. Guess he really needs the money.

Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2011 5:16 PM

why the fuck are they adding more shows when he's clearly on drugs and he doesn't play the whole album half the time anyway? just book a Lemonheads tour, you fucking rip off artist junkie hack piece of shit

Posted by Anonymous | October 19, 2011 6:55 PM

he needs the $ to support his drug habit.

Joke's on you if you go.

He's probably coming down off some serious drugs and suddenly had a craving for one of those delicious chicken sandwiches across the street from the Knitting Factory at the Commodore. I'd play a show at KF for one of those sandwiches too.

He probably caught something from that Market Hotel glory hole

"Its a Shame About Evan"

Worst concert Ive ever been too (Buffalo, NY - Town Ballroom 1-14-12), this DB opens the show with 3 acoustic songs, then the band plays 6-7 songs with a drummer that clearly didnt even know the songs they were playing, then the rest of the band disappears, and the cracked out frontman stumples thru 5 more songs, completing some of them, mumbling into the mic between songs, no encore... what a joke, I want my $25 back!!!!!

Just saw him 2.10 in Houston. He was great - the whole show rocked. Best $15 I've spent in a long time. Hope he stays clean because he is hella talented!
