As you know, We Were Promised Jetpacks will HEADLINE Webster Hall on Sunday (10/30) with Bear Hands and Royal Bangs in tow as part of a string of US dates together. Tickets are still available. Fuck. I hate the name of this band so much it enrages me. No other band name has had such a profound effect. I just want to give them jetpacks that are filled with human shit and black powder, so that when they use the jetpacks they explode and shit and flies all over the band and blows them to bits!

Normally I find it annoying when people try be witty in an attempt to play off the band name with smarmy comments, but I must say these are pretty damn funny.

@ 4:20 AM He he he. I would be like here are the Jetpacks you were promised. And they band would be like "Aw Cool!" Then they would put on the Jetpacks and fly into the air but then the black powder would explode and rain down feces upon the band and they would crash!
