Yo La Clownshit

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 10:13 AM

As a sorry bastard who will probably have to spend Christmas alone in NYC, I look forward to a trip to Hoboken, pretending Ira and Georgia are my parents, as a coping device.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 10:13 AM

let's start speculating on openers.

creed
nickelback
p.o.d.
puddle of mudd
staind
disturbed

anything I missed? so psyched...

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 10:16 AM

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 10:33 AM

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 10:35 AM

How dare them play on the birth of our Lord and Savior.

10:16 - you forgot GWAR, Korn and Ghoul
Call those double bills "Sausage & Cheese"

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 11:18 AM

^ Well those three bands produce some goddamn tasty cheese, that's for sure!

I'm gonna go with Creed as the opener.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 11:35 AM

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 12:10 PM

I'm not sure of who the opener will be, but I am sure that one of us is going to be opening a thing of hummus relatively soon.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 12:12 PM

who is balling kim gordon?

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 12:40 PM

12:10: Not nearly as "cool" as your response, it would seem.

Stop living in denial.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 12:46 PM

@12:40PM putang ina mo baka kantutin ko ang mother mo...

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 1:00 PM

who are the guest stars each night?

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 1:04 PM

8 nights of overrated nostalgia. Meh.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 1:20 PM

Snoozefest 2011.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 1:52 PM

yo meh tengo, amirite?

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 1:53 PM

agreed @ 1:52. Love this band, but my god, so uneventful live. I had awful gas the night I saw them @ Maxwell's. That was the highlight of the night for me.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 2:09 PM

"Uneventful"? The whole fucking show is one big "event". Surprise openers, comedians, full YLT set usually with rarities, covers, guests, and then an encore set with another guest.

You're an idiot 2:09.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 2:12 PM

it's fun if you don't have to work the next day.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 2:22 PM

Bro La Poontango

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 2:32 PM

2:09 + 2:12 = <3

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 2:50 PM

10:33

now that we know you hate YLT, we hate them too

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 3:11 PM

2:12 wants to see HedPe open up.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 3:19 PM

I've always liked YLT. But I really don't understand how anyone can be overly passionate about them. They're like the "All Things Considered" of indie rock.

Posted by Anonymous | October 27, 2011 4:25 PM

i don't think you have to be overly passionate about them to love them. they write really great music and are really down to earth and obviously are huge fans of music.
