Talent is luck.
The important thing in life is courage.
- They've had this argument for years.
- Listen to this example.
If the four of us are walking home over
the bridge and a person was drowning,
would we have the nerve...
Would one of us have the nerve
to dive into the icy water and save them?
It's a key question.

talent is often a side effect of neurosis
in Bradford's case, absolutely

dudes got issues, but after seeing deerhunter a few times on the last tour-it really seemed like he got his shit together. deerhunter in 2k11 was the epitome of a profesional group running on all cylinders.

money has a way of teaching professionalism
still, those guys and cox are not friends

@2:32 dude its not a david byrne show-its someone elses show and hes just gonna show up and sing a song or two. jesus. if it was a real david byrne show bv would be on it already.

Top 10 album of the year. The guy is making amazing music with two bands simultaneously.

2:38, I think the statement "David Byrne Playing Merkin Concert Hall" still applies.
The point is BV missed his window - show is almost completely sold out. I know tons of BV readers who would pay $20 to get orchestra tickets to see David Byrne perform one or two songs alongside several other decent musicians.

atlas sound is the reason why the terms side/solo project arent a direct negative. parallax is especially impressive.

Crazy people make good music. In fact, Neil Young once said Charles Mansion was the greatest musician he ever met.
