Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. This was posted today on MichaelJackson.com:
A Message from John Branca and John McClain, Co-Executors of The Estate of Michael JacksonFor more info see the "Death of Michael Jackson" Wikipedia page (yes, it has its own). The Estate of Michael Jackson and Michael himself has always believed the jury system works and despite the tragedy that brought about this trial we are in agreement with the jury's verdict. In this case Justice has been served. Michael is missed on a daily basis but his genius and his music will be with us forever. He is "the greatest entertainer that has ever lived"

I think there's no doubt that Dr. Murray was responsible for the death of Jackson. Someone like that should not be an MD. Just IMO.
POLL: Was "guilty" the right verdict for Dr. Conrad Murray?

As part of his punishment make Dr Murray pour fake blood on himself, grab his crotch, throw his hand in the air, and march like a zombie while listening to Thiller over and over for 6 hours a day during his incarceration.

"Michael himself believed the jury system works" which is why he settled all those child molesting trials out of court

Seems like it was the right decision for a doctor that provided drugs that were not permitted and in doses that were excessive.

So, the guy slinging smack down my block is responsible for all those wrongful deaths due to the choices of his customers too? Is that how it works? Or, is this kind of justice just for the 1%, eager to absolve themselves of their poor choices?

Remember when Stuttering John asked Michael Jackson if he learned the moonwalk dodging his Fathers punches?
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 8:07 AM
7:38 Damn right. Prince always was better than MJ.
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 9:42 AM
7:36, I thought the same thing at first, but this guy was a doctor, he has a duty to prescribe the proper amount of proper drugs, and while MJ most likely used his star power/money to get the doctor to skirt the ethics of his profession, the dr still dun goofed
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 9:45 AM
I was in Pampers when Michael Jackson released his thriller in my face.
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 9:50 AM
8:07: Yeah, I remember that. I have to go back and listen to all those other Stuttering John interviews too. The Ringo Starr one was awesome!
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 9:57 AM
7:36 - As a doctor, you are required to follow a code of ethics. Drug dealers aren't required to be ethical. At the very least, he deserved to get his license taken away.

Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 11:38 AM
10:36 - so that makes the drug dealers "right"? You completely missed the point.

fuck you Veegs!! ill forvere love MJ. RIP MJ my idol and the first man I ever had unprotected sex with.
Long live the King of Hummus!
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 12:40 PM
how come michael jackson was not found guilty of being a pedophile?
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 12:44 PM
Well 12:44 he was not found guilty because as a pop singer he was not required to follow a code of ethics so he was not accountable for any of his actions (according to 10:36). Too bad he wasn't a doctor, or he would have been in prison a long time ago.
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 1:05 PM
There was no proof.
Posted by Anonymous | November 8, 2011 1:12 PM
JIGGA MURRAY NOT GUILTY (they try to roooob me but I'm not guilty)... oh wait

LETS GO PENN STATE!
Posted by JacksonMichael | November 8, 2011 1:39 PM
Incorrect 1:12.
The correct answer is that a jury of his peers found him not guilty. Peers that were presented with compelling evidence from both sides.
THe truth is that those 12 people decided that he was not guilty.
To say that there was no proof misrepresents the process, and the truth.
