Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:09 PM

OH YEAH! Where is the date for Montreal?!

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:11 PM

Remember when I farted?

Posted by wingwalker77 | November 28, 2011 5:12 PM

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:17 PM

actually they did play MSG and made a sweet movie about it.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:18 PM

excellent laptop solo

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:19 PM

Remember when they pressed a button on a laptop and pretended to perform? Fuck Justice. Fuck Terminal 5. Fuck Bowery Presents.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:20 PM

@518 did that movie include the part where MSG show was cancelled and then moved to the smaller "Theater at MSG"?

also @520 they mix their shit live, shut up

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:24 PM

They played the theatre...that's not MSG.

Amazing that they can play venues this big. So sick of laptop acts.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:25 PM

remember when they decided to play terminal 5 during sxsw.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:27 PM

These guys are the Steve Vai of knob turning and slider sliding.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:29 PM

Remember when Todd P booked some lame show in the middle of nowhere Queens and nobody came and then he got all pissed? That was funny.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:32 PM

I make historic music with words, typing anonymously on Brooklyn Vegan. The day will come when people will regard anonymous blog posting over actual literature, too. Just like they do with this crap over actual musicians.

Youth is wasted on the young.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:33 PM

5:32 LOL I remember that.
wait, wasn't that like 6 months ago?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:36 PM

so you guys know these two play instruments, right? and that those instruments are recorded into songs on their album, right? and that just because they don't play their instruments live on stage and that they instead decide to mix their music live using turntables and gear, it doesn't mean they arn't musicians, right?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:36 PM

5:36,

Yeah, I think so. I'm trying to find the thread where he gets all bitchy about it. So funny. I wish he could book a show every weekend that no one would go to. Non-stop comedy.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:37 PM

Todd P and Justice
They deserve each other
Like piss and vinegar
(Justice is the vinegar part)

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:40 PM

so you guys know that no one gives a flying fuck about laptop boys, right?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:41 PM

Bossa Nova >> Vegas lounge act >> fat rock >> brunchcore >> laptop boys

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:44 PM

You guys know I eat hummus, right?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:49 PM

definitely gonna be at coachella

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:50 PM

definitely gonna be warming up for Sigfried & Roy at MG Grande

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:53 PM

you guys know that laptops don't play themselves, right?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:54 PM

Definitely gonna be D.A.N.C.I.N.G.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 5:56 PM

You assholes all suck. You wouldn't know good music if it hit you over the head with your mother's dick.

Posted by Todd P | November 28, 2011 6:01 PM

Justice, endorsed by the Asus Zenbooks

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:15 PM

A Hewlett-Packard printer could have greatly enhanced their performance.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:18 PM

I actually like their new album. Plus, hating on Justice is soooo 2007.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:22 PM

Hating on Justice is almost as fun as hating on Todd P.

almost.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:23 PM

Actually there was a moment at their last concert when he hit the space bar with his ring finger. It was pretty bad ass.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:24 PM

So you guys know that their new album totally sucks my granddad's ball sacks?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:30 PM

I already read all of these jokes a while back on that Lustmord post. We need some new material up in here.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:34 PM

So you know that I have a small penis right?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:38 PM

Lustmord, LOL. Hating on Lustmord IS more fun than hating on Todd P.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:41 PM

I saw justice play a house party once, only they had to use the host's Acer and Dell laptops so it didn't sound as sharp as when they have their Macs.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:42 PM

I went to a Justice show once and it totally sucked. The CD drive stopped.

I thought there was going to be a riot.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:47 PM

Lustmord comment section is infamous.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:50 PM

Even Vangelis laughs at Justice.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 6:51 PM

I remember that Lustmord thread. That was classic. "You've Got Mail!" LOL

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 7:06 PM

These guys are no Flying Lotus. Now, that guy knows how to Cntl+Click!

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 7:09 PM

Why don't laptop artists play sets down at OWS?
no outlets.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 7:15 PM

"iTunes not responding?!?!

Our whole show is fucked! We can't perform!"

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 7:30 PM

But...

Remember when we ate hummus?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 7:34 PM

I heard that Frohawk introduced Justice to hummus and taught them how to play music on guitars.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 7:43 PM

We have gone crazy.

Posted by Rede de proteção | November 28, 2011 8:31 PM

Bottom line....acts like Justice are meant to DJ parties and play at dance events, not be gawked at on a stage like they are actually creating something in a live setting.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 8:49 PM

LOL 7:43 - starting a Dylan / Acid / Beatles rumor like that is akin to Prometheus bringing fire to mortals

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 8:55 PM

a lot of people on long island and in nj are freaking out right now

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 9:25 PM

Oh, phew, I thought you were going to call me out for posting from Ames Iowa, 9:25. So glad you deflected focus away from the hawkeye state.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2011 9:31 PM

8:49pm

"and play at dance events"

.. that's what their show technically is, a dance event.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 12:09 AM

are they actually going to plug in their laptop?

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 12:46 AM

They don't need to plug in their laptop. They are actually just playing an MP3 off of their iPhone that's plugged in under the table.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 2:16 AM

Justice just annouce: We hate NYC and are just in it for the money. Come give us your money. Terminal 5 will give you deafness - so you can continue "listening" for years to come.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 3:04 AM

THIS SHIT IS PINK TACO SON!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 3:09 AM

I've actually never attended a dj set of theirs before. I thought a cross the universe was pretty bangin, is that typical of their sets? I fucking hate t5, but I might look to check one of these.

All snark aside, is it worth it?

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 8:49 AM

A DJ set + Terminal 5

This has all the makings of EPIC FAIL

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 8:57 AM

Electronic Acts can play unplugged. It will sound kind of like that kid on South Park playing guitar hero acoustically.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 9:05 AM

@ 8:49 I saw all 20 minutes of them in Brooklyn at the Creators Project and it was great. Nothing is played as it is on the album and they mix everything right there. Very good live.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 9:05 AM

French people are funny.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 9:47 AM

8:49pm

"and play at dance events"

.. that's what their show technically is, a dance event.

They should play in a club and be in a booth on the side somewhere, not center stage at a concert venue. Club scene is not indie culture. I think clubs and the crowds there are beyond awful....I also think it's ridiculous that every few years the indie scene fully embraces a dance act. Dispute this all you want

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 9:55 AM

I've seen them live twice and its a great show. I had a fucking blast.

Its a dance party at a music venue, yes. Who cares. As long as I can be drinking, its all the same to me.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 10:12 AM

I heard Todd P is having the Wife/Kid combo playing out in Rockaway for all his artsy friends.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 10:29 AM

i think the only really annoying thing about this is that it will be all-ages, right? i'm all for cute, young girls, but that whole scene can get terrible right quick.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 10:35 AM

I agree with 10:12 and 10:35. Should be some good St. Patrick's Day fun French club style!

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 10:45 AM

THIS ISN'T A DJ SET, THIS IS A LIVE PERFORMANCE.

JUSTICE DOES LIVE PERFORMANCES (RARELY). THEY DID A LIVE PERFORMANCE AT TERMINAL 5 ROUGHLY 4 YEARS AGO.

WHEN JUSTICE PLAYS LIVE, THEY MIX EVERYTHING LIVE, ON THE SPOT. NO LAPTOPS IN SITE.

Posted by REALITY | November 29, 2011 10:54 AM

I don't get how people can hate on Justice, yet praise Daft Punk. They are literally the same thing minus a pyramid and a set of helmets. In terms of artistic creativity and live performances, they do the exact same thing. They mix their tracks onstage.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 10:56 AM

silly white people
here, i got some doodoo i can sell you for $20
that's a deal for you son

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 11:33 AM

the new album kinda sucks

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 2:08 PM

i really just like their fashion sense and their 'rock star'-ness and image, to be shamelessly honest.

that their music or 'mixes' are good only helps the notion. just the idea of the duo, french, DJs, parties, thumping loud bassy grooves etc etc etc. it's all there. a good night out with the intoxicating fumes of beautiful women. and drugs, if you're into that kind of shit. i'm more of an alcohol kind of person.

anyway.. yeah the image and the music hand in hand. that's Justice for you. an interest in a good beat and good music and you mix it up, you bang your ed, the rest is historie.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 4:35 PM

but will there be fist pumping?

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 4:37 PM

@437 only in and out of your anus

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 4:43 PM

4:35, if you're being honest, I like it. We need more of you around here, and less of people like 4:43.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2011 4:49 PM

The French are funny too.

Posted by Redes de proteção | November 29, 2011 6:10 PM

so how long are their "live" shows? im guessing shorter than dj sets? and they just play their own songs? I think I'll pass then

Posted by Anonymous | November 30, 2011 1:01 AM

I thought 4:43's comment was great.

Posted by Anonymous | November 30, 2011 7:51 AM

Posted by Anonymous | December 2, 2011 12:36 PM

i really don't have much to say except for fuck ticketmaster, fuck scalpers, AND fuck BOWERY PRESENTS for buying into ticketmaster's FUCKERY.

Posted by Anonymous | December 3, 2011 1:10 AM
