To avoid any more Portishead overload after posting about both ATP shows and the first night at Hammerstein Ballroom (and the Chicago show), we never put up the pictures from Portishead's 2nd NYC show at Hammerstein (the 10/5 one). I went to all four shows. And I couldn't pick the best one. However, the crowd was more electric in NYC, but ATP has a special vibe.

Yeah, this was one of my favoirte shows too. But that "show of the year" meme has been played out way past it's shelf life.

I know this isn't exactly the forum for this but I don't care.. I spend enough time on this site that I feel I can voice my opinion..
After all this time why does this site still insist on loading concert photos in such an incredibly stupid and amateurish fashion? Havent you realized that the way you do it doesn't work? Every heard of thumbnails? I shouldn't have to load every single picture at once or battle with them trying to load if I just want to read the comments at the bottom. You're also wasting your bandwidth$$. I know you're making money from the advertising. Pay someone to install a jquery photo gallery or come up with another solution cause what you currently do is really fucking dumb.

I disagree with the complainer about the concert photos. I like this format as you can scroll though all the pics rather easily. Thumbnails and slide shows suck. Just deal with it.

I agree with 8:01pm, the photo format sucks. Plus, many of the photos are redundant. Should be no more than 10.

Should not be too much of a problem with a CDN, but BV appears to be lacking one. Not a smart move.
