Real Estate's North American tour got underway this week -- they're in Salt Lake tonight and will hit Bowery Ballroom the night before Thanksgiving (11/23). Their New Jersey/Bushwick neighbors Big Troubles open all dates, which are helpfully listed at the bottom of this post. After then the band head to Europe for a few dates in December.

In the meantime, the band just debuted the video to their undeniably catchy single "It's Real."  If you love dogs and the band Real Estate, you will probably also enjoy this video. Watch it below.

^agreed. The first two times I saw them I wasn't impressed. Caught them a third time at the Beer Garden and it hit me that these guys are really just a great band.

Hey 11:42am. The first two times I saw them, they were also terrible. Then I read the Pitchfork review, and it hit me that these guys are really just a great band!

In all seriousness, I caught them at Maxwell's a couple of months ago, and was very impressed (surprised?) by how good they were.

I saw one of the guys in this band and Mamouns and I was impressed at the proper pita triangle dipping methods they utilized.
