Brooklyn electronic-goth duo White Ring specialize in shoegaze-y drug-induced synth darkness and have released a new 12" with Handmade Birds. The release is their first for R.Loren's (Pyramids) imprint, and features a cover of Neil Young's classic "Hey Hey My My" on one side and a recording of their fan-favorite "FELT U" on the flip. The latter track is a live staple, and marks the first recorded instance of the track. Stream the entire 12" below for the first time and order your copy at the Handmade Birds site.
No current dates scheduled for White Ring, but you can live vicariously through the live video and a recent video for "Suffocation", with the stream, below...

The guy above me is trolling. Hating on fresh art, that they would most likely never conceive of, or even come close to creating in their meaningless lifetime. Placing music in categories and saying music is "going nowhere", is a prototypical reaction of a crapitalistic mindset, completely ignorant of avant-garde styled art that doesn't cater to his little, close-minded existence.
