BK Bazaar
BK Bazaar

The three-night Brooklyn Night Bazaar kicked off last night in its warehouse location on Kent between North 5th & 6th. Entrance to the food and shopping and portapotties is free, but you'll need to pay to see the music in the big back room. Tonight that means spending $10 to see 5 bands including Dom and Fucked Up (tickets will be available at the door). Last night was a DFA-curated lineup that had headliner James Murphy DJing to a sizeable amount of people until well past midnight. Pictures from the whole evening, lots of the vendors included, below...

$6 beers? Dumb. Also, how many pictures do we need of a grey haired DJ wearing b/w plaid? One is enough.

Way too many pictures of DJ James Murphy... or not enough?

How long until we go back to the time when dj's were background music and not "performers" or "artists"?

What a dumpy fuck.

Chick from Midnight Magic looks like she should be pushing a baby carriage with three little hasidic children in it and getting in my way while I'm trying to get on the J train.

Looks like a total shit show. Great place to pick up a $400 type writer I guess?!

Fat, booze bloated, and a pussy.

Old Man Murphy needs to go and find something else to do.

Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2011 11:58 AM

Does this place have a coat check?

Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2011 12:35 PM

Yes. There is one in the market part. I can't remember if there is one in the music part as well.

Posted by anonymous | December 17, 2011 1:00 PM

doesn't look like there is a crowd at all

Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2011 3:36 PM

Murphy mixes pretty well. And the fact that he doesn't use serato is good..

Posted by Anonymous | December 17, 2011 5:15 PM

please tell me this is some sort of hipster prison, and that these people are forced to be there. they are being held against their will. there is too much bad facial hair, posing, and ex LCD love for this to be enjoyable

Posted by Anonymous | December 18, 2011 9:26 AM
