6 delancey

Pick up physical tix from Bowery Ballroom.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:46 AM

Great for people with no jobs/lives, etc, who can just run over to 6 Delancey on a whim.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:46 AM

Yea so only 200 pairs.....yep will be gone by noon when I get off for lunch! Thanks Black Keys for catering to hipsters/scalpers/high school kids with no jobs!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:47 AM

I don't get FB at work. Can someone elaborate? I work close, so I could run over there.

What do I have to do?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:47 AM

9:47. Just go to 6 Delancey with your ID. Godspeed to ya.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:48 AM

@9:47

Just show up to 6 Delancey. I think they've got a pop-up stand or something.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:48 AM

OCCUPY THIS SUBWAY STOP IN FRONT OF BOWERY BALLROOM

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:48 AM

Sort of bummed that this is something that requires a physical presence, and not just hitting refresh at a certain time, but should at least keep the group of people interesting.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:50 AM

Well that was a flop. sounds like the only people going to be at this concert are going to be the 21+ homeless...

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:50 AM

So they are giving away 400 free tickets to a show at Webster Hall which holds 1,400. Where are the other 1,000 going??? Did they ever put any onsale?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:50 AM

Black Keys is the Moby of 2011/2012.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:51 AM

gay

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:52 AM

What a gay way to give away tickets. So living on long island and actually having a job disquallified you

Posted by jordan | December 5, 2011 9:53 AM

Just to piss everyone off, they should have distributed tickets at Terminal 5 instead.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:54 AM

950am. Well this is sponsored by Soco & presented by Bowery Presents.

Here's what I think.....
400-public
800-Soco/Bowery/MTV people
100-band/production
100-press

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:55 AM

At work, no black keys tickets and I've been waiting all weekend to figure out how to get this....Bad Case of The Monday's Right Now!!!!

Posted by Laura | December 5, 2011 9:58 AM

I arranged my whole morning around making sure I was online for 9:45, hoping I'd have a chance at a Keys ticket. Didn't realize this giveaway was only for the jobless, and whichever hipsters can pedal across the Williamsburg bridge fastest

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 9:58 AM

This whole East/West GA nonsense with MSG is annoying.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:04 AM

Now I don't believe in nothing' no more! I'm going to law school!

Posted by Jimbo Jones | December 5, 2011 10:04 AM

How is this only for the jobless? You mean to tell me that you can't take an hour or two of PTO to get out of the office.

ps - All of the people who got tickets are laughing at your complaining/ whining right about now. Brats!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:06 AM

10:04, there's only a West GA pit for this show; the seats behind it are reserved.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:07 AM

Nah, pulled up an East GA, through it back (literally said East GA in the order).

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:08 AM

Your wait is approximately 12 mins lol.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:08 AM

Hilarious that when something doesn't work out your way, it's instantly stupid and only for jobless loser hipsters. Grow up and stop waiting for things to go your way. If you want something, make it happen!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:08 AM

@9:58 someone used half of the same comment you made on the SoCo FB page!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:08 AM

Just left Bowery Ballroom empty handed as all the tix to this are gone already! W.T.F.??!!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:10 AM

How much will it be on CL? Will Dylan Stern the scalper show his email again? Will someone be stupid enough to pay $100 for these tickets?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:13 AM

Me and my friend got them. Craigslist here I come, I mean how else am I supposed to pay for Xmas gifts...?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:13 AM

I go them. I left the my occupy couch and was able to get my tickets. Now I'm back to my occupy couch to make a point so down with the man.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:15 AM

lol @ 1015

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:16 AM

were they giving out pairs or 1 per person?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:17 AM

1 per person, huge line - if you're not already here, you're not getting them

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:19 AM

1019 is lying. I got a pair. And there was no line....

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:21 AM

The MSG show is a Bowery Presents show, so I'm sure it will be a fake sellout, where they hold back 80% of the house.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:29 AM

SNL really needs a new sound guy

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:30 AM

i'm sure there are still a bunch left, lots of dbags on this here internet

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:30 AM

haha go to twitter there are pictures of at least 400 ppl online good luck

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:33 AM

The line there is insane. At least 200 peeps waiting. Left office to check, then had to come right back. What a #^@% show.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:34 AM

Wah Wah!! I didn't get tix and I feel entitled because I've been listening to the Black Keys since Brothers came out.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:41 AM

Booked 'em before that crap album came out (what was it called? The first Danger Mouse?)

Loved 'em back when Rubber Factory came out :-)

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:42 AM

"Wah Wah!! I didn't get tix and I feel entitled because I've been listening to the Black Keys since Brothers came out."

lolz

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:47 AM

The Bowery twitterbox just tweeted that if you're not already in line, don't bother.

Thankfully I dispatched my personal staff in my hovercraft to obtain tickets on my behalf, to bring to me in my secret hummus mansion behind Terminal 5.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:52 AM

I still don't get why people shit their pants over these dudes. First time I saw them was when they opened for Radiohead on that weird tour before In Rainbows and they were great! Now it just seems like they put a new record out every 6 months. Can't get into it.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 10:58 AM

Man, I was like 15 people back from where they cut off the line! Got there at 10:25, so that gives you an idea of when they ran out. And there was one per person, meaning that 400 people got there within 35 minutes or so. Damn.

Posted by Paul | December 5, 2011 11:05 AM

all tickets on ticketmaster right now are sooooo far from the stage and no GA available... wtf

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:14 AM

I like the Black Keys but not really sure how a blues-rock duo is playing arenas. Just seems weird.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:16 AM

Well, White Stripes played arenas...

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:22 AM

WS's were incredible at the garden

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:23 AM

I miss the White Stripes.

I also miss when band would just set up in Union Square.

Posted by D | December 5, 2011 11:24 AM

I got both West GA and East GA... but the map had it listed as one GA section... Whats the deal? I've never seen this before there... but I see MMJ has this set up. I should keep the east GA then I guess

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:24 AM

Paul

The bouncers there may have screwed you. At a certain point when the line got too long, they moved the 2nd half of the line to run parallel with the 1st half. I thought they'd serve the folks from the 1st half and then move onto the 2nd half. At a certain point, the bouncer started taking people from the 2nd half, as well as what had to be scalpers.

When asked what was going on, the bouncer told us to shut the eff up or we wouldn't get in, and to not tell him how to do his job.

I got there at 950am or so, but i heard a guy walk out on his cell phone saying he got there "super late" to a friend but that he got tickets anyway.

I got tix, but it was pretty BS

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:24 AM

@ 11:24- for foo fighters, there was a walkway in the middle of GA, so dave grohl could run back and forth from the back of MSG to the stage, etc. so that's probably why there's east and west GA

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:26 AM

Yeah, you're totally on point about the White Stripes. I guess it's just that The Black Keys don't seem as dynamic to me as the WS. Again, I like the BK's, they just seem better placed in a smaller venue to me.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:31 AM

if given a choice, you want GA WEST, assuming you want to be closer to the stage

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:33 AM

Thanks... I hope other poeple are realizing this when buying. The map should look like how the set up will be. Maybe they wont even use that set up. I dont see the need for it.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:35 AM

11:35,

Ah, I feel better for putting my East GA back in the pool then. Hopefully there's West GA in the fan club pre-sale tomorrow.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:37 AM

Truthfully..they probably wont even have it labelled as anything but GA. As far as I know the presale is through the black keys website directly, not ticketmaster.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:40 AM

how did you get GA on ticketmaster today? did you put 'best available' or select 'GA'? everytime i try GA, it says there's nothing available, i even tried 1 ticket

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:52 AM

When I did it, I selected GA. My girlfriend did an order too... She most likely did best available. We did it RIGHT at 10 and there was no wait to get tickets...a few minutes later there was a few minute wait. I was banking on poeple being distracted with this SoCo nonsense..and it turned out to be true.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:55 AM

11:52, Best Available.

Frustrating that they split the floor. I never understood why MSG totally pusses out and can't have a full GA floor. That being said, I'd rather sit than STAND in the back GA section.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:59 AM

When did they start doing this? I've been to a bunch of shows at MSG and theyve never had 2 GA sections. They only usually broken it up into GA and Floor seats.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:03 PM

Who are The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys opening up for? I can't find this info anywhere.

Posted by Venkman | December 5, 2011 12:05 PM

^Neil Diamond!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:10 PM

ugh, i keep getting 101, 102 and 120... sucks, will try again tomorrow for the fan presale

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:12 PM

i can't believe their discriminating east and west GAY seats at the show. aren't all black keys' fans gay?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:15 PM

What's strange is that you had to be 21+ to get a ticket...but the tickets themselves say the show is 18+. Hmmmm. Very Interesting.

Posted by John | December 5, 2011 12:20 PM

I will trade my ticket for some of James Murphies Pubic Hair - Takers???

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:31 PM

The East Coast is the better of the two coasts.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:38 PM

Dude from Titus Andronicus had a little twitter hissy fit about the Black Keys

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:45 PM

BA DUH BA DUH DUH! BA DUH DUH-DUH!

If these words don't bring about world peace, nothing will. Truth.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 12:47 PM

I got east as well as west GA, will sell either pair. I hope they playing howling for her!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 1:32 PM

1:32, can I have one of your West GA tickets?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 2:15 PM

21+! FUCK YOU BLACK KEYS

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 3:34 PM

@ 9:50 AM lmao your comment just made my day!

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 3:36 PM

MSG show sounds like such shit IM NOT PAYING $80 to see THE ARCTIC MONKEYS open for the BLACK KEYS how degrading next thing you know THE STROKES will open for JUSTIN BEIBER

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 3:40 PM

since when do hipsters like the black keys? they're for frat boy bros.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 4:09 PM

"What a gay way to give away tickets. So living on long island and actually having a job disquallified you"

i wish all concerts 'disqualifed' people from long island

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 5:32 PM

532 could not have said it better - stay on long island !

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 5:36 PM

I wish no concerts 'disqualified' people from Long Island.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 5:47 PM

547 could not have said it better - come from Long Island !

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 5:48 PM

you guys really nailed it

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 7:18 PM

While most of the people living on Long Island are idiots, they are still better than the swarm of people that moved from the Midwest...

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 7:42 PM

I'm watching the webcast now, how about you fuckers?

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 8:48 PM

I hope they play seven nation army, this is going to be so awesome.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 8:49 PM

No. Midwest folk are better then long islanders.
Long island is the worst place in the entire country without debate.

Posted by Anonymous | December 5, 2011 11:41 PM

"INDIE" MUSIC IS FOR CUBICLE PEOPLE

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 12:02 AM

you people need to stop complaining, they started letting people without tickets in at 915 and the show was amazing

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 8:29 AM

I have a job and a very good one at that. I just came in late so I could wait on line for tickets. You know, what we used to do before the internet! Oh and I am from Long Island so all you fucking jealous haters can bitch all you want. Me and 1,400 other FANS saw an epic show. All your insults about being homeless or NOT from NYC or Brooklyn are just pathetic and feed the stereotype that hipsters are fucking tool bags. Hope you enjoyed the webcast while you wept...

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 8:57 AM

Hahaha...most of the Dipsters who live in New York & Brooklyn aren't even from there. They're just defacing the city streets with their douche-baggery. Go back to the coal mine you came out from!

Posted by Condescending Hipsters | December 6, 2011 9:20 AM

This waiting room nonsense for their ticket on-sale is terrible. Just gives scalpers the ability to buy for every show

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 10:05 AM

presale is/was a fucking joke

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 10:29 AM

that's because all sites other than ticketmaster/livenation/ticketfly really suck and cannot handle the traffic. i'm looking at you, ticketweb (*cough* louis ck *cough* green day at studio at webster)

also that whole new yorker fest was a shitshow for tickets. fuck random ticketing sites that suck.

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 10:42 AM

it's an hour later and i still can't get in! lol, what a disaster.

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 10:55 AM

I just want one goddamn West GA ticket.

Posted by Anonymous | December 6, 2011 11:00 AM
