Raspberry Bulbs

Blackened punk meets nihilistic hardcore when Raspberry Bulbs teams with BV-SXSW alums Salvation to play a show at WEIRD (131 Chrystie ST #1 in Manhattan) on 12/14. Raspberry Bulbs released Nature Tries Again earlier this year via Hospital Productions, while Salvation is preparing a new four song collection called House of the Beating Hell due on Youth Attack Records.

Possessed will return to NYC as part of a scattered set of dates that include March 4th at BB King's. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday (12/6) at noon. Full set of dates are below.

Tickets are now on sale for Hail! Hornet, Zoroaster, and Slow Southern Steel (the movie) at Europa.

Larry Lalonde needs to stop denying he used to shred for Possessed.

Posted by Anonymous | December 2, 2011 11:32 AM

really? lalonde has distanced himself from possessed? ...dispossessed?

Posted by Anonymous | December 2, 2011 11:33 AM

lalonde was 17 when possessed put out "seven churches"...and went on to marry a 'price is right' model. awesome.

when has larry ever denied playing in Possessed? retarded comment.

a near-perfect metal show was when possessed played a rare thrash CBs matinee back in, oh, 1987. i remember lalonde had sliced his hand on equipment or something during the warm-up bands and got stitched at the ER and made it back without missing a beat. their sound was clear, powerful, professional...and intense. one of those days you don't forget. (though, for the life of me, can't remember the opening band's name; they were semi-popular at the time.)
