Racebannon

The worlds needs more Racebannon. The deranged noise-core unit takes notes from 90s greats like Unsane, Melvins, and Today Is The Day, co-opting the latter's nihilistic and destructive disposition. Racebannon doesn't fuck around, except for in playful album titles like their latest LP Six Sik Sisters due on 1/23/12 via Tizona Records.
Produced by Agoraphobic Nosebleed's all-time favorite producer, Kurt Ballou, and mastered by Alan Douches, Six Sik Sisters is the band's follow-up to 2008's Acid or Blood. Stream the first track from the LP and the lead single, "Thee Plea", for the first time below alongside the album art and tracklisting.
Members of Racebannon also served time as Medusa, whose En Raga Sul was a personal favorite.
Song stream, album art and tracklisting are below. Unfortunately no live dates to speak of, but we'll keep a look out.
