Ryan Adams recently began his December solo tour which brought him to NYC last night (12/5) to perform a "Live on Letterman" taping at Ed Sullivan Theater. You can watch the performance in full below.
Before he leaves New York, he'll play a sold out show tonight (12/6) at Carnegie Hall with Jessica Lea Mayfield.
Ryan's got a number of other North American dates scheduled for January and February too, though nothing else in NYC at the moment. All dates and Letterman video below...

I was at the Live on Letterman thing, it was nice, but mellow acoustic shows aren't my thing. Hope he puts a band together soon.

ignorant people: you may not like him, he may annoy you. I get it. But one thing Ryan Adams is not is untalented. He's such an abundance of talent that he's a mess, a bit like Prince. So prolific, but doesn't know how to edit himself.
