Vise Massacre

Borrowing some of the same hardcore-meets-metal fury that permeated projects like Knut, Old Man Gloom, and Black Cobra but with touches of black metal, Brooklyn's Vise Massacre are preparing to self-release their new LP Expendable Humans via their own Gorilla The Horse Records. The record, due in January on digital and vinyl forms, was mastered by Josh Bonati (ZU, Julie Christmas, Racebannon, etc) and features "Rising Tide", available for the first time here today.

Vise Massacre have no current dates to speak of. Until those shows surface, stream "Rising Tide" from the record below.

where is the black metal in this? why does everything have to be black metal influenced but not actually sound like or bear any resemblance to black metal? knock it off.

10:01 PM Yes it sounds like Faith +1 with a lot of D chords. The bearded buy in the front got distracted because India st rats ran off with his St Vitus candle holder.

I find this band to be true to style ... Crushing metal ... Forget labeling the sound ... Is it good or not ? Well I believe they sound pure ..... The passion and rage coming from the front end is out of control ...the back end pulls you in and before you know it you can't stop listening to wait for what other caiotiic madness that is coming your way.
