August 30, 1972. That's the date of that Lennon show at MSG. So what the hell does it say '85 for at the beginning? He was killed in 1980 so I'm drawing a blank here. These are typical mistakes I've come to expect at the hacks that Paul Allen hired for KEXP, but it's not what I expect from postings on BV, and it's certainly not the kind of thing that took place at KCMU.

The comments left in the "What's going on...?" section these days is so purely retarded. No insight whatsoever to any of the bands? Just hackneyed hummus jokes. Sad.

As opposed to your comment, eh 9:56?
Typical hipster fuck - adding nothing to the conversation, just taking up space and using up my oxygen.
Go screw, pussy!

Seriously, is anyone else going to rave with me at Mark E saturday?

Posted by Anonymous | December 9, 2011 12:35 AM

I once had a Frohawk
Or should I say, he once had me?
He showed me his room
Isn't it good, Brooklyn hummus?

He asked me to stay and he told me to eat anything
So I looked around and I noticed there wasn't a spoon

I sat on a futon, biding my time, eating his hummus
We had brunch until 2, and then he said, "It's time for bed"

He told me he worked in the morning and started to laugh
I told him I didn't, and curled up next to his Big Freedia ass

And when I awoke, I was alone, this Hawk had flown
So I cooked some chickpeas
Isn't it good, Brooklyn hummus?

^ It's a good reaction to the fact that....NOTHING is "going on"!

Hummus is the most exciting band in NYC.
