The hipster's punishment for all the Yo La Tengo/Ted Leo/lame hipster comedian horseshit. You asked for it!

"For Pete's sake..."

How edgy.

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:32 AM

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:33 AM

11:25 Right. 'Cause Watain's not comedic.

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:34 AM

HELL yeah! Awesome lineup

So where is the first stupid sausage joke?

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:34 AM

HA!!! 11:33 actually was typing it as I predicted

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:35 AM

Ghost is better than this wack shit!

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:36 AM

I love Metal and I get laid all the time... so even though these are 'guy' shows... I am not there to be seen/scene ou douche with tight pants and colorful clothes begging "Look at me I am weird!"

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:36 AM

yo come on b, you mad early for halloween

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:38 AM

Watain is pretty boring live; totally not worth standing through with all smell coming from the rotting carcasses and blood on stage. It a shame they don't live up to such cool outfits.

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:40 AM

so cool

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 11:41 AM

(1st) 11:34: Watain is comedic (especially nowadays with the decreasing quality in their albums lately), I'll give you that. But I'm willing to kinda overlook the ridiculousness for enjoyment of the show, especially with the other two bands which are still pretty solid.

i like dudes who wear makeup

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 1:10 PM

@11:40AM ....the rotting carcasses and blood you're smelling....it's the smell of sausage being made. No one ever wants to see how it really happens.

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 3:43 PM

yeah i agree
its a pretty sad and nasty process

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 3:47 PM

Yes they are doing their version of the Kids in Hall skit "wheres my sausages" by showing you in person how wild the factory of making that shocking filthy sausage really is. Look it even turned his hair gray also.

Oh the metal article comments on BV.

Posted by Anonymous | January 20, 2012 7:38 PM

watain will kill you. and lawless darkness was great.

Posted by Anonymous | January 21, 2012 4:20 PM

Move upstate sausages.

Posted by Anonymous | January 21, 2012 5:43 PM

Hudson is the new Brooklyn. Should we go further north still? Enjoy your lame borough. Hail Seitan!

Posted by Seitan's Onion | January 21, 2012 6:23 PM

@4:20 PM LOL...the only things Watain ever killed were helpless animals and their parents hopes and prayers that one day they'd "grow out of this".

Lawless Darkness was the pure essence of sausage. Made by sausages for sausages. Goes great with maple syrup (or as you guys call it, K-Y).

Sausages to Buffalo. It can be your Israel.

First Martyrdoom, now another great tour ... I am impressed Decibel managed to put this together! Watain's last appearance @ Santo's was not their best ... they were much better on their "Sworn To The Dark" tour. Looking forward to Behemoth and I am glad Nergal is back on the mend! Finally, The Devil's Blood and In Solitude will show NYC how that Retro-Rock thing should be done (check out that "Christ Or Cocaine" live video on youtube) ... clownfaced Ghost is awful!

Posted by EarlGreyTea | January 22, 2012 2:26 AM

fucking behemoth. get that shit off this tour.

Posted by Anonymous | January 23, 2012 7:52 AM

11:25!!!! yes! that made me laugh..thank you kind sir/ma'am. this tour is punishment for shush'ing BBG at the king krule show. zibbity BOP!

Hell Yes, IN SOLITUDE is included. I have to hand it to Decibel to including them. They will be headlining festivals soon enough... I saw them by accident-kinda in Ft. Worth and they were awesome. Like one of the great 80s arena bands- level great. If you like early Iron Maiden and early Mercyful Fate turned into something totally new, get to the gig early and see these heavy metal kids.
