Big Freedia @ Brooklyn Bowl
Big Freedia

Big Freedia spent last night (1/25) teaching the US how to bounce at home as part of a live appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The diva performed "Excuse" and "Na Who Mad" from her recent EP, but unfortunately did not perform the new single "Booty-Whop" which was released this week via iTunes. Check out video of the New Orleans bounce phenom below, and if you're in LA then head to Bootleg Bar TONIGHT (1/26) to catch the booty-clapping in the flesh.

Big Freedia headlined Brooklyn Bowl on January 21, bringing her patented bounce to the venue along with support from Nicky Da B and Rusty Lazer. Pictures from the appearance adorn this post too. More below...

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

best night ever.

So this is Frohawk?

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 3:11 PM

Frohawk's ass would be too much for even the late night audience to handle. It is a spectable best observed live and in person.

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 3:12 PM

Frohawk was a fuckin' inspiration that night!

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 3:24 PM

Article says "her" Kimmel says "him". So what's the deal?
Na Who Mad sounds like a broken Pac-Man machine.

No idea why we are still talking about this act. HOWEVER, one of the best music moments ever was when Chuck Schumer introduced him at the waterfront in brooklyn and then all the back up dancers start dry humping the stage...priceless.

TOO MANY MOTHERFUCKERS ON THE STAGE

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 4:30 PM

Chuck Schumer also went on stage AFTERWARDS and said "i'm so happy I could bring such great musical acts back to brooklyn." I alomst died.

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 6:20 PM

So, those are two different songs? Didn't they just replace wobbly with yaka?

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 6:30 PM

When I saw Big Freedia live I thought she was a dude

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 7:06 PM

She is a dude.

Posted by Anonymous | January 26, 2012 7:26 PM

Freedia is only a she in delusional quarters such as NYC. In the real world, having a cock makes you a dude.

Posted by Anonymous | January 27, 2012 4:43 AM

Calling this music...is a stretch...but it does look like hilarious party times that would be fun for 15 minutes.
