If you hear music blaring out of 245 Grand Street in Brooklyn, know that it isn't the return of the recently shuttered Bruar Falls, but the emergence of new venue The Grand Victory. The bar/live venue will open its doors on January 19th and already features a few upcoming shows, including 1/19 with Born Loose, The Threads, Bikini Carwash, "guest DJs & more!!", 1/25 with Oceanographer, Money/Paper/Hearts & Eagle Hawk Falcon Owl, and 1/28 with The Giraffes, Moon Rabbits, The Netherlands & Cinema Cinema.

Newsflash: Williamsburg does not have a music scene anymore, especially not for churning out night after night of amateur I just arrived in NYC let's start a band bands.
