Islands have a new album on the way called A Sleep & A Forgetting due out February 14 via ANTI-. They'll go on a North American tour in support of the album in February and March, which includes a Chicago show and a TBA NYC show set to happen on February 25. Presumably, they'll be touring with Luc from Pepper Rabbit, who recently disbanded and mentioned that Luc would be joining Islands on drums this spring.

They recently revealed the first single from the album, "This Is Not A Song," which you can download above and stream below. It's a bit more on the dad rock side than most of their previous material, but an enjoyable cut nonetheless. The video for the song premiered on Stereogum last month and you can watch that below too.
