Captured Tracks is the hipster Drive-Thru Records.

Posted by Anonymous | January 19, 2012 12:24 PM

hmm, captured tracks, THAT fucking picture, DIVE, yup i don't give a fuck about this. this isn't music, this is a brooklyn popularity contest. eat shit, hipsters. i hope dive peddles their song to grey's anatomy next yr and then breaks up, what other future do they have?

Posted by Anonymous | January 19, 2012 12:32 PM

ahhhhh, the EXACT point where the brooklyn scene has hit a new low of IMAGE over music. we're getting spoon-fed BEACH FOSSILS SIDE PROJECTS everyone. let that sink in.

horrible production. sounds like logic greasing itself into a psychiatric ward

Posted by Anonymous | January 19, 2012 12:37 PM

Sike-Fooled all of you. That picture is not Mac but actually a picture of BBG before he heads out to see whatever sausage metal band is playing that night.

12:41(#1)- Nice try, closet case. Pictures like this are why I laugh when hipsters try to call Metal gay. It's called Projection.

Posted by Anonymous | January 19, 2012 2:41 PM

Can we talk about what we'd like to do to that girl from Chairlift's ears?

She suggested in a Pitchfork interview. I'm game.

Posted by Anonymous | January 19, 2012 2:50 PM

Posted by Anonymous | January 19, 2012 11:40 PM

Laughing at smug posters too stupid to realize that Projection was capitalized because it is a Freudian term and it was directed at hipsters. Apparently you the can fall into money but not intellect.

You think in black and white metal head. Just because indie hipster metal in clownish fantastical caricatures doesnt mean the person pointing that out likes shit hipster burg mustache rock. Theres a hell of a lot more genre's of music than you know of mr. freud.

To clear up a little something, NY was NEVER onsale at arcadefire.com today. I was refreshing all morning and it wasn't there. Whether it was ever supposed to be or not is the confusion. Merge said it would and neither they nor Arcade Fire has said anything to clear that up.
