Happy New Year!
Gogol Bordello
Gogol Bordello

A Gogol Bordello New Year's Eve celebration can hardly be contained in a single set of photos, so here's a second set of the madness that engulfed Terminal 5 on 12/31 - baloons, on stage and back stage action included.

If you missed it, here is the first set of pictures (with opener The Debo Band), and a set of pictures from their appearance the night prior (12/30).

More New Year's Eve pictures below...

I stopped counting after 100 pictures, 7:50. Less is more.

Um, it's too bad that she wasn't able to take that many pictures.....

Ever heard of editing your photography? Is your professional portfolio ten volumes long?

Posted by Anonymous | January 4, 2012 9:09 PM

Irrelevant all around. Their dressing room sign is as obnoxious as this scroll fest of pictures. How are these any different than the previous 200 posted by BV?

great concert

Posted by Anonymous | January 4, 2012 9:37 PM

What is it that compels the first few commenters on BV to be so douchey? A GB concert on New Years is mayhem and your photos convey that nicely. Thanks for being so thorough with the images it's a nice contrast to a lot of blogs. You can tell you guys really enjoy what you cover, keep up the good work.

I prefer Bordello of Blood, myself

Posted by Anonymous | January 5, 2012 8:44 AM

i didnt go to the show...and im not a huge fan of GB...but i did love the photos. sure, sometimes less is more. but 1) they're actually great photos, and 2) they tell the full story of the evening.

if you'd rather look at 20 photos...stop after you scroll down past 20 photos.

One of the best shows I have seen a very long time! If anyone has the bands contact info - I am a writer, please email to me.

Wow, if I knew Gorgol Bordello would be selling out a NYE show in 2011, I would about crapped myself in 2004.

Dear Dana...AmAzinG shots! I absolutely love your work. I was there, waaaay in the back, Lol. Craziest show I've ever experienced. I usually stick to Jazz, so yeah... ;-) But I am also a live music photog...my highest compliments to a job well done. You really captured the energy and the BEST of everything, the performers, the crowd, the moments, backstage, everything. Congrats and thanks so much for sharing them :-)

Hey Funderburgh, what were the set times on Sunday? Anybody know if it's better to take the bus or train/shuttle to Izod?

^ if you're going to hump your website, at least come up with some new wording. Copy + paste? Does your website plagerise as well? Why should anyone even look?
