new video: Youth Lagoon - "July"

Youth Lagoon revealed the music video for “July,” off of his debut album, The Year of Hibernation, which we just named one of our favorite albums of 2011. The video was directed by Tyler T Williams, who also directed the “Montana” video. It uses similar faded backdrops and landscapes to the “Montana” video, and like that video, tells a parallel story to the lyrics. Watch it below.

As mentioned, Youth Lagoon is going on tour during the next few months, which includes NYC shows at Bowery Ballroom on March 27 and MHOW on March 28. Tickets for both shows are still available.
