HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Bowery Presents just plays you fools like a Las Vegas dealer.

you fools play yourselves. anyone who pays above face for anything nowadays is a moron (except for radiohead/lcd situations). you're making purchases based on your emotional state, not based on logic.

tix will be on stubhub for below face for both shows day-of.

2:38 - Even in the LCD situation, you could have waited until the week of and caught a ticket release via TicketMaster for face value, for any of the T5 shows or MSG.

wonder what she's doing now that RHCP postponed their tour...

there is a fire sale going on on craigslist as we speak. did people just buy up a bunch of these tickets thinking they'd be able to flip them for a bunch of money or something? what a joke. if you're thinking of going, def hold out, people will be giving these tix away very soon.

fuck hype. stubhub 5 minutes before offsale. here's what i paid to see these artists:

lana del rey @ bowery ballroom - $17 on stubhub
frank ocean @ bowery - 14.99 on stubhub
santigold @ mhow - i predict $18.99 on stubhub.

what does before "offsale" mean, exactly? is there a specific cutoff time when they stop selling tix to events?

Posted by Anonymous | January 16, 2012 2:52 PM

what time did Santigold go on-stage on Monday night?

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 9:18 AM

what were tix going for outside last night? 10-15 bucks? can't imagine having had to pay much more.

Any of you fools paying to go see her is a joke. Having to sit through her set when she opened for Bjork was one of the most painful 45 minutes I had to endure at a show.

offsale = 2 hours before the doors open. that's when SH stops selling.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 10:28 AM

i saw her when she opened for mark ronson @ highline ballroom in like 2007. everyone was laughing. i hope her live show has changed.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 10:29 AM

i saw her open for gnarls barkley at highline a few years ago. it was more camp than serious, from where i was standing. it was pretty sloppy and there were some fuckups, but the 80s-era dancers were entertaining. this was before her album had even dropped and she was still called santogold, so i'm sure her performances have improved somewhat, hopefully at least!

I saw her open for Bjork at MGS...not good..

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 11:18 AM

MSG that is!

The offsale SH buying tip is the best advice anyone will ever give on this damn hipster blog.
