The Horrors at ATP I'll Be Your Mirror 2011 (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)
The Horrors

The Horrors have an extensive international tour booked for 2012. Previously the only North American dates on that tour were their two Coachella performances, but they've just announced NYC shows happening on April 9 and 10 at Music Hall of Williamsburg, a few days before their first Coachella appearance. Tickets for both MHOW shows go on sale Friday (1/20) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (1/18) at noon. Only a few other North American dates have been announced but more to come (?).

In!

lol @ all of these bands booking these insignificant tours because their name on the Coachella Inc. dotted line meant two show in the same random place a week apart....tour on the days in between in random parts of the SW bc the contract wont let ya play SF OR LA!!!!!!!!! good luck

Is there a more boring festival band with inexplicable "cred"? How they ended up at ATP is fucking beyond me.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 4:18 PM

Effing love the horrors. Although if you think about it in terms of NME = P4k, The Horrors = Bon Iver. And Bon Iver is lame.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 4:25 PM

they blow donkey dick

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 4:30 PM

Their latest album Skying was pretty cool but live they blow. What a joke.

Posted by Really? | January 17, 2012 4:36 PM

@4:18 Geoff Barrow produced one of their albums (a great one).

primary colours was great. skying was pretty decent too. but jesus, they suck live. it's like a note for note facsimile of the album, without any of the enthusiasm and excitement of the records. i've seen them twice and they looked as bored as hell. so was i.

this band is terrible

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 5:20 PM

Hating cos they're prettier, skinnier and more talented than u is so lame

Posted by dee dee king | January 17, 2012 6:34 PM

After the ATP train wreck of suck that was the Horrors I've taken to calling them the Haircuts or the horribles please feel free to use.

Them and a Bowery venue deserve each other.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 8:02 PM

Hey Dee Dee, how about if I hate them because they are boring, derivative bullshit? But by all means continue to evaluate artists on how skinny they are, that's very cool.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 8:23 PM

chalk me up in the like column. polarizing band. typical of the great ones.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 8:37 PM

useless music

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2012 9:09 PM

They are only "polarizing" between people that fall for image, and those that don't. If they dressed like that fat computer programming friend of yours, i assure you they wouldn't be touring anywhere.

@4:16

if the contract won't let them play in LA or SF between coachella weekends, then why are they playing 2 shows in SF between coachella weekends?
