If you're looking for 1378 Palmetto St. you're gonna find yourself at Duane Reade. K&K Super Buffet is like two blocks north of that at Palmetto and Cypress

hard bop

Real Estate was great guys. I had leftover string beans from the steam table!

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 11:15 AM

good vibes @ K&K Super Buffet!

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 12:19 PM

K&K Super Buffet show was totally packed. Dogleather was pure mahyem. Babies were rock pop pleasure. Black Dice drove people into a frenzy and Real Estate....well they just mopped us up of any energy we had left.

Horrible MSG shows at $50 plus per ticket or Todd P shops at $5...hmmmm easy answer to that one

You forgot Charles Bradley doing a James Brown set at Hiro Ballroom.

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 2:52 PM

Lugubrious Diphthong totally killed last night!

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 2:56 PM

Hey marc at 2:34pm, you should apply to BV as a concert reviewer. That kind of shallow idiotic over hyped blurb you wrote is right in line with the usual fare here.

Real estate show- total shitshow.

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 3:31 PM

K&K Super Buffet can suck a dick. The place looked like it was a teenage house party with beer bottles and shit everywhere, the beer line was often long and Real Estate sounded like a bad bootleg.

PS.

Kids---put away your phones and shut the fuck up when the band is playing.

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 3:32 PM

real estate was great, but yeah, total shit show. probably should have sold have the amount of tickets they did and it would have been awesome.

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 4:17 PM

That show was fun. Y'all r idiots. Oh noooooooooo, beer cans on the ground! BEER CANS ON THE GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Curses and efffing maledictions!

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 4:29 PM

Was a shitshow at first, but as the night wore on, the crowd thinned out and at least it became manageable. That said, sound was alright, and it was worthwhile spending the time at the billiard hall upstairs.

Also, the lighting design was controlled by dimmer switches, that was pretty funny.

Posted by BLG | January 29, 2012 7:08 PM

Considering they couldn't even post the correct address to the venue... total shitshow.

Posted by Anonymous | January 29, 2012 8:24 PM

Trying to remember a show where there were no long lines to get beer, and no beer cans on the floor after..oh yeah...it was the shows no one went to or cared about.

Posted by Marc | January 30, 2012 10:12 AM

Shut the fuck up Marc. Thought you went away after your first dumb comment yesterday
