I love this band, but they sound like shit outdoors (see: Central Park opening for TV on the Radio, 2009).

I love this band, but they sound like awesome sauce outdoors (see: Central Park opening for TV on the Radio, 2009).

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2012 10:28 PM

I love this band, but they sound like shit outside the studio (see: any show they ever played).

Posted by Grandma Sex | February 28, 2012 11:26 PM

I hate this band, but they sound amazing when they don't play garbage (see: none of their shows they ever played).

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2012 11:35 PM

I thought/hoped that these guys had disappeared into thin air like Grizzly Bear.

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2012 11:41 PM

I like Dirty Projectors and I like it when they play outside. I also like Grizzly Bear. Just gonna leave that here....

Saw them open for Phoenix at MSG. Wrong venue for them, but Celebrate Brooklyn should make for a great show. Hope the new material is on par with Brite Orca. That album is in constant repeat on my iPod.

7:27 PM, cleverly written comment, but the content is almost nonsensical and reflects poorly on your awareness of what those three bands sound like, in terms of the logic of placing them in a sequence that's meant to draw more comparisons between them than distinctions, AND your knowledge of the potential audience at a Dirty Projectors show.

Posted by Anonymous | February 29, 2012 8:29 AM

Posted by Anonymous | February 29, 2012 9:35 AM

2:09 - too many words and too many slightly big words coming at me consecutively. Couldn't read your crap.
