Soul Train

As promised, Don Cornelius fans, many donning afros, took to the streets of NYC on Saturday afternoon to honor the recently deceased Soul Train creator with a Times Square Soul Train line dance. According to an ABC News Report, it lasted 45 minutes before cops broke it up, though the same ABC story says "about a hundred people" were there. As you can see in the videos below, including the ABC one, and a NY Post-created one that says there were "thousands", there were more than 100 people. Watch the videos below...

Man, this totally killed. Better than any show this week including Bjork, Nicolas Jaar, Portlandia and The Darkness

Spike Lee, Ad-Rock, David Fricke and The Edge were all there

(by the way morons, It is not a flash mob when, for example the police know all about it beforehand and are prepared for it which they were-It was just an organized event)

Oh, well if The Edge was there then it must have been the only place to be yesterday. Was Glen Campbell there too?

Fucking twat. Bet you dressed up like a zombie for MJ's posthumous Thriller joint too.

True, at what point do we stop referring to people gathering as a "flash mob". It was obviously a very publicized event and came as surprise to no one. Please, is this stupid fad over yet?
