Kelley Anderson w/ Those Darlins @ LPR (more by Amanda Hatfield)
Those Darlins

The band released the following statement today:

As a group, and individually, we are thankful for you, our fans and supporters, for your unwavering support over the years.

With sadness, we must announce that Kelley Anderson has decided to leave "Those Darlins" in order to pursue other musical projects and professional ventures. We will miss Kelley but will follow her with excitement at her new website: Kelley promises to keep us updated on the Tenth Anniversary of The Southern Girls Rock and Roll Camp in Murfreesboro this summer. It was Kelley's hard work and dedication to the Southern Girls Rock And Roll Camp that brought us together in the first place.

Those Darlins will continue to move forward with a lot of exciting news in 2012. We will be recording an EP in May with producer Scott Litt (REM, Nirvana, Patti Smith) to be released this year and will resume touring in March.

We've got a lot of new music to share with you and promise to bring you the best recordings and live shows of our careers. We sincerely thank you for the continual love and support you've shown.

Jessi, Nikki, Linwood
Those Darlins' only scheduled dates at the moment are in Europe.

Cutie-pie overboard!

I honestly have no idea what their studio stuff sounds like, but do you guys seriously not enjoy Those Darlins shows??? Are you the same bespectacled plaid-laden dime-a-dozen hipsters who sit around pretending you don't read Pitchfork ("Pitchfork is OVER!!!") and just stand there motionless at Sharon Jones shows?

Best News I heard all day is the Kelley now fronts a band called Grand Strand and is on tour with Richard Lloyd. Way to go Kelley! Based on the shit Those Darlins has recently released, it looks like you knew when to get out.

Can you email me with some pointers on how you made your site look this awesome, I would appreciate it.

People are idiots. IF you had seen this band perform live, you would in fact know that 1. They f****n jam!!!! 2. All three girls can "fluently" switch from insturment to insturment and were very much in tune! 3. Kelly was pure energy and has more talent in her pinky than you f***tards have in your whole head. Im still goint to a show this very weekend to see Those Darlins sans Kelly, have twice and they still rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
