The Fatal Feast

There is a small and very exclusive club of bands that rip and do so while giving the listener a smile on their face. Richmond's Municipal Waste is definitely one of those bands; their tongue in cheek humor coupled with thrashy beer-swilling riffs is the stuff that makes the kids go wild. Now with The Fatal Feast, da Waste is taking on a new foe, space. The new LP, due on April 10th in the US/April 13th in the EU, is the band's latest case for metallic-insanity and their first at new label home Nuclear Blast. Stream the title track below for the very first time. That's the cover art above.

The band is hitting the road for a string of dates with Gwar and Ghoul in the coming weeks and will also play Chaos in Tejas.

All tour dates, the new song, and an unreleased track that appears as part of the Decibel flexi series, below...

Nothing like fat dirtbags taking themselves and their obsession with comic books and robots seriously.

For the non-sausage commenters - the singer sounds like (glenn?) of Nuclear Assault, right? I'm not sure that's a great thing.

For the sausage commenters - I think well-placed sausage comments can be hilarious, but you need quality control, just like a good sausage factory would have.

On a serious note anyone seen the Kids In the Hall skit "wheres my sausages" done in black in white as a foreign film spoof?

New Thrash in 2012 = More Over Than Old Thrash Was in 1990/1991.

But this sounds better than MW's last 2 gay records. I only like "Hazardous Mutation".

"Nothing like fat dirtbags taking themselves and their obsession with comic books and robots seriously."

You think a band called Municipal Waste is made up of people who take things seriously? You must be a moron. I'm not sure why you think they're fat, either.
Jesus, fucking hipsters.
