Rufus Wainwright in Brooklyn (more by David Andrako)

Rufus Wainwright's Prima Donna opera is currently running live at BAM. The NY Times was at opening night and unfortunately wasn't impressed. The Daily News has a review too. Check BAM's site for tickets to remaining performances.
Sick of all this opera stuff, and just yearning for a good old fashioned performance by Rufus? If so, you got your wish, as Rufus Wainwright will return to the Howard Gilman Opera House at BAM on May 9, 2012 for what appears to be a regular concert, and tickets are on pre-sale now.

I'll always have a soft spot, but he has really become such a greedy diva, it's too bad. The newer material is nowhere near as good as his old stuff, either, so that's another deterrent. Oh, well.

who is boning rufus?

80 but opera is 25?..
Totally backwards haha. Nice to see the opera is that cheap though, don't get me wrong.

Rufus has a soft spot, about 5_inches_inside his colon. You should see him wiggle when you hit it.

u posters should be ashamed of ur homophobic rants.

^ a poser in this case would be a heterosexual man pretending to be a homosexual one (which I have not seen up above). Therefore, your description is inaccurate.
Moreover, I'm rather proud of my rants. Ascribing "homophobic" is also inaccurate. Just because you don't agree with my observations or conclusions does not give you the right to dismiss them as anathema or ascribe fear to them (homo + phobic). That phrase is terribly misused these days, and I for one will no longer tolerate such blatant controlling behavior from an attention starved queen bitch just because he wants to play that card. Fuck that, Chas.

nothing to do with homophobia in this case: rufus is an arrogant asshole and is certainly not worth 80 bucks. that is all
