Its funny how a lot of foreigners like Johny Cash, yet don't understand that america is the coolest country ever. But it's cool.

I understand that things like the last parts and labor show are very important but what a glaring miss. Ummm show of maybe the year or years at the Apollo theater tonight
Howlin for Hubert benefit tribute for Hubert sumlin. You know with nobodies such as Clapton and Keith Richards performing.

^ for $1200 a seat? Now THAT is punk!
Posted by Anonymous | February 24, 2012 6:45 PM
Look at the lineup. What did you think? It was gonna be a 50 dollar ticket
Yeah it Is super expensive but to not acknowledge it when it is such a special show is kind of silly
They did have 150-250 dollar seats. Of course those were in the balcony which at the apollo is akin to not even actually being there.
Those went in about a millisecond

Clapton has been a money whore for decades, and his tone and playing has not been comiserate with those high fees. I love Hubert (loved), but this will be a DVD within 6 months, no doubt.
