Bowerbirds @ Bowery Ballroom - 3/23/2012 (photo by kylewhodigs)

The Bowerbirds played a sold out, headlining show at Bowery Ballroom last week. If you missed it, NYC Taper has a recording, and tickets are on sale now for their next NYC show which is at Music Hall of Williamsburg.
And speaking of bands signed to Dead Oceans and NYC shows, tickets go on sale at 11am for the Tallest Man On Earth show happening at Town Hall on June 20th.

Truth be told, they didn't really sell it out. It thinned out substantially after the opener. A quiet show with a lot of chatter, but I guess I should've expected that.

Thanks genius for that pearl of wisdom. You new here? This is true of much of the shows Bowery Presents etc put on these days. They say sold out but not really. Youth Lagoon selling out 2 recent shows. Give me a fucking break. Tickets were available right up to showtime.

The point I was making, weather it was actually sold out or not, was that the opener, Dry The River was more responsible for the "Sold Out" tag than Bowerbirds. That's all.
