Ty Segall and White Fence - Hair

Today the world got the first taste of Hair, the upcoming colaboration between Ty Segall and White Fence which is out April 24 on Drag City. That morsel, "I Am Not a Game," is downloadable above. Like most of the album (which I've heard), it feels more like a White Fence record than a Ty Segall one, though it is slightly less tinny than most of White Fence's output. Ty does take lead on a couple songs ("Easy Rider" and "Crybaby") and his influence is more likely to be heard when the two head out on tour together  -- a show that will hit Webster Hall on May 16.

If you need more White Fence, no worries. Main man Tim Presley is a writing/recording machine with the the two volume Family Perfume coming at ya May 15, though the first volume will be available digitally April 3.
