Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 12:21 PM

We need to let some things just stay in the past....this might be one of them. IF VH1's programming was like it used to be, Garbage would be all over it.

they'll add a 2nd show like LA; so glad they chose this approach as opposed to a shitshow at t5

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 12:38 PM

"The guys in this band look like my lawyer and my accountant."

12:13, let's face it...you have limited resources, no lawyer and no accountant. Espicially ones who would ever dress that classy. Idiot!

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 12:45 PM

no Chicago or midwest reeks of LOLLAPALOOZA in August.

The shortlist so far includes.

Florence Machine, M83, Garbage for those keeping track.

Even at her age now, Shirley's accent would still turn me on.

S p I n d oc tors >>> garbage.

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 1:56 PM

I never hated them, but they've been out of the game so long that the tix should be a bit less.

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 2:40 PM

i have always liked Garbage. looking forward to this!

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 3:34 PM

There is a very strange amount of positivity in this thread for BV. Nevertheless, I am excited as well. "Why Do You Love Me" totally rocks my clit! (And I'm a dude)

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 3:57 PM

^ Most of us are too embarrassed to think that there are BV readers interested in seeing Garbage. I saw your comment on the side of the main page and had to let you know.

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 4:14 PM

YESSSSS!!!

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 4:27 PM

12:45 - My lawyer and my accountant would be offended that you don't believe they exist.

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 4:33 PM

When I hear someone justifying a band's worthiness because they sold out Glasslands, I simply crook my face, laugh at the fool and discount anything more that comes out of their mouths.

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 4:37 PM

4:14,

I KNEW there was a troll coming in soon enough! You're right, I have now realized the errors of my ways and will instead go see the latest indie dork projects (Neon Indian, Tune-Yards, etc.)

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 4:46 PM

lol accountant rock lol just in time for tax season lol lol

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 5:14 PM

F all you stupid posers that only like shirley for her acting!!!! She has the most beautiful voice in the world and I have loved her forever! AS a true fan I've already pre-ordered the album!!!

Posted by Anonymous | March 12, 2012 11:37 PM

so glad they are coming back to NYC!

Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2012 9:32 AM

I never had any use for their faux-ternative rock, but man, music is such horseshit these days that I almost feel petty in hindsight for having thought that.

Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2012 9:50 AM

4:46 - People need to stop invoking the tuneyard-s when they're defending their own shitty taste. They're awful... almost as awful as Garbage was when they polluted the airwaves in the 90's. Now it's almost 20 years later and it's just sad. The name was always correct, though. I give them and 'tool' credit for being honest about themselves and having apt descriptors for their names.

Posted by 4:14 | March 13, 2012 10:32 AM

I never liked Garbage, but that singer is uber-hot in that goth girl, vampire kind of way.

Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2012 10:37 AM

^ (not so much in that pic though)

Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2012 10:38 AM

Lush >>>>> Garbage

Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2012 10:42 AM

^ I like them both.

And while we're at it, let's round up Elastica, Republica, the Breeders, Veruca Salt, and Luscious Jackson. FTW? FTW indeed!

Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2012 11:13 AM

Wild Flag!

Posted by Anonymous | March 13, 2012 11:27 AM
