Melvins at MHoW (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)

Melvins are welcoming The Bulls & The Bees, their new EP available for free download via ScionAV today. The band is celebrating the release with a spankin' new video for "The War on Wisdom", the opening track on the EP, which is streaming below for the first time.

As previously mentioned, Melvins have another LP on the way this year with Freak Puke due on June 5th via Ipecac. They'll be in "Melvins Lite" formation for that record but won't be for their upcoming tour with Unsane (who we recently interviewed).

Video below...

Melvins sucks. They were just a stepping stone for Nirvana.

Oh boy, a new Melvins record, how unique. They should have called it Recycler.

^ That would've definitely been the case if they were still continuing with that Big Business nonsense. Holy shit, what tepid stuff. Now that it's just them again, I'm willing to give them another shot again.

This release is with Big Business. Freak Puke is with Trevor Dunn.

I smell poop here...

Ah, well I spoke too soon anyway. The EP turned out to be pretty damn boring. Except for that cool sad part on the fourth track.

Awesome song, awesome LP, the Melvins/Big Business lineup never gets old for me

I have been a Melvins fan for a long time. Seen them live many times, got all their albums, etc, etc
This new EP is really disappointing. I mean it's not terrible, but compared to previous releases, it pretty boring.
At least it's free.
