Howbout instead of relocating every year to some backwater podunk town almost in Mexico, howbout BV hosts the New York Fucking City Music And Arts Festival? Put up flyers for interns (to give the industry folk the "happy ending") and get this shit on the road!!! Sick of this bullshit about Austin this or Austin that. Fuck Austin. no need to do an nyc festival (and we have cmj anyway). almost all the good bands live in brooklyn as is so you can see anyone play all the time pretty much.
