love songs from a drunken poet too a sober tired brethren in the midst of the night

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:18 AM

Well drunken poets often are better than the sober but most likely it is hard to find a sober poet...

Ugh I wish you gave a fuck about your readers. We all can't get press spots.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:03 AM

this is the worst

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:57 AM

ahhhhhh....the suspense is killing me!

Posted by bianca | March 8, 2012 6:17 AM

Sleep... Can't sleep. Want to sleep. I hate refreshing. I hate this OK Computer. Get it? I'm delirious.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 6:39 AM

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I'm still in the queue for Kraftwerk tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 6:50 AM

Now no one will get tickets since this was posted.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 6:53 AM

These dippy whores could shit on a paper plate, and you sheep would knock each other over to line up with forks. Amazing. Overrated.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 6:57 AM

I don't get this radio in my head. What's the frequency, Kenneth?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 6:59 AM

Everyone waiting for the NJ dates is gonna kick themselves for waiting around more than a minute to be sold out.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 7:06 AM

Wellllll I'm off to take a midterm now! I bet money that it's going to come up while I'm in class even though I've been hitting F5 since 12. Woooo.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 7:08 AM

got mine!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 7:48 AM

7:48 where/how?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 7:55 AM

^7:48 is the type that always lies about the size of his penis.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:05 AM

SOLD OUT! DAMN!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:13 AM

Someone on the Atease forums around 7:30 posted that WASTE will go on sale around 3pm. This person also correctly posted WASTE info for Roseland and the other dates this tour.

So you can relax until then kiddies.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:14 AM

site is already down, bravo...bravo

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:16 AM

I'm not sure if keeping the presale time under wraps is criminal or ingenious. Way to hold your fans hostage. It's not like anyone has lives or anything.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:16 AM

Tour was just cancelled. The band has their heads too far up their collective asses after losing the plot several albums ago. Sorry guys.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:18 AM

Who wants to guess high/ low value for these bad boys on stubhub?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:21 AM

this is a major w.a.s.t.e. of time, that's about it

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:24 AM

sweatpants wearing ass bitches

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:29 AM

are waste tix paperless, or do they mail them to you like tm?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:36 AM

836 sorry scalper. will call only.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:37 AM

837 thanks douchebag. was an honest question from a fan.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:40 AM

840 sure. if you want to go to the show, why would u even ask that? no reason.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:47 AM

oh man I just hope their load balancing servers are set up for the onslaught

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:47 AM

some people don't like to buy will call only or paperless tix b/c there is no hedge against schedule conflicts, illness, etc. most people don't like to eat their tix.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:49 AM

This will be a cf no matter what...too many shows go onsale today from RH...

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:50 AM

I haven't been keeping up with the setlists, how many different songs have they've been playing? Anyone know?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:51 AM

greenplastic.com yo

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:52 AM

Hope those scanners will be working.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:54 AM

Thanks 852 but I want to be surprised when I see them! They've been changing it up every night so far right?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:55 AM

8:36 - Actually, only the good sections are paperless. The crappy seats will be regular tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:55 AM

^ a few songs a night...a couple of REAL random non-album tracks thrown in too

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:56 AM

Will the floor be general admission or seated?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:56 AM

GA

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:57 AM

Thanks! Hope they're still playing Idioteque and Paranoid Android!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:57 AM

Are you sure, or are you just assuming so because other venues were GA?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:57 AM

pretty sure all venue floors have been ga so far

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:58 AM

Why do you fuckwads think will call means no scalping? It means I'll be walking my buyers in. It just limits the amount of extra tickets out there and I end up making considerably more. Paperless is a fraud and has added serious $ to my bottome line. So, thank you artists and ticketmaster for allowing me easier access to great seats and great profits!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 8:58 AM

^That is true but what a waste of your evenings...hope you liked attending all those Miley Cyrus shows you had to last tour

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:00 AM

I always say the only REAL way to stop scalping is 1 ticket limit will-call only...this way only people who REALLY want to go to the show will. Be a great way to meet new people too, however it is very impractical.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:01 AM

One day 8:58 is gonna rip off the wrong person and they're gonna kick the shit out of him.

This is the part where 8:58 comments back "you have no idea what i fuckin look like you would get your ass handed to you by me"

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:04 AM

only a tool with no friends living at home would suggest a 1 ticket policy, jesus

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:04 AM

BV total asshole for making this post on so many levels

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:05 AM

I'd rather there not be paperless. Let people foolishly buy up tons of tickets, and watch as some of them end up selling leftovers $10 a piece by showtime.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:05 AM

there's a week b/w coachella and mansfield, i'm guessing they'll add a show or two

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:05 AM

^nice try but you couldn't be further off if you tried

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:05 AM

radiohead didn't think this one through very well. what a cluster.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:06 AM

Only a bunch of tools would believe a troll like 8:58. The guy is full of shit.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:07 AM

People were bitching about Roseland setlist sucked and now look at all you fools!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:08 AM

Well it is tool time...

uuuuuuuuhhhhhh

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:08 AM

Who is promoting this one? Is it Bowery, LiveNation, or AEG?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:09 AM

Bee Vee censored my last comment. But 9:05 why do you think bee vee cares? He's gonna go whether you bought all the tickets up or got completely shut out and you're not gonna get his +1 because he feels bad for blowing this up.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:10 AM

9:08 I liked the Roseland setlist because I heard the rest of Radiohead catelogs on the other tours...bring it..I wouldnt care if the setlist was all new.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:10 AM

This is not fair. W.A.S.T.E. keeps crashing thanks to everyone's pins and needles.

Posted by anon e mouse | March 8, 2012 9:11 AM

The 3pm speculation is accurate. Obviously i cannot prove how i know this info as I would get in trouble, but it's true. So relax folks.

So ready for this - I've got six browser windows open on three different computers/IPs

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:33 AM

Is anyone else having trouble loading the W.A.S.T.E. ticketing page or is it just my crappy connection at work?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 9:37 AM

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:09 AM

Won't the presale be linked from radiohead.com/tourdates once it's open?

My question is that at checkout it said Floor. No seat numbers. Is it GA, or will I have an assigned seat.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:23 AM

Also to the trolls inciting people with that fake ticket link and password and saying their pages load fine. Normally I would have complete disdain for you but in this instance i say keep it up. Watching people go nuts over this is hilarious

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:24 AM

Not sure about floor. I ended up choosing "Reserved Seating" and was not assigned seat numbers.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:24 AM

don't tell

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:25 AM

no tix have not gone on sale yet. no idea when waste will release them... user name and pass is a fake. just someone having fun with you all

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:25 AM

I asked through their twitter page, just scooped a pair of GA's!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:26 AM

Everyone is 99% sure they will at least be released on the hour right?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:26 AM

such a waste of a day...after all these years they deem this the best way to release tickets?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:26 AM

hummus break take 5 everyone

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:27 AM

Because it would be the ultimate radiohead would be the ultimate trolls if they released them at 10:52 or some shit like that.

opps

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:27 AM

Ok so will someone that is nice just tell me that it is in fact linked out from the Radiohead/tourdates link? Someone that isn't a typical commenter on this page? Hummus, Jeremy Lin Shit.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:28 AM

there is NO time guarantee - waste presales start at completely random times. the roseland one was like 627am or something. if anything, i'd count on them NOT going onsale on the hour.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:29 AM

@10:16 admits he is a troll

Checkout was weird as fuck and died at least once but got 2 for 5/31.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:38 AM

really frustrating

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:38 AM

I'd rather get them from ticketmaster and sell them if i need to

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:38 AM

what a joke that was.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:40 AM

Well that was quick .. ah well ... Guess I can try again on Sat

Posted by Burg | March 8, 2012 10:40 AM

That was really not that bad, compared to prior experiences. Though it was pretty frustrating to see the payment page and the order confirmation each fail to load twice. But I have to hand it to the WASTE crew - to be able to reload at that point and not lose the tickets in your basket is something Ticketmaster has yet to discover (or is actively avoiding because Ticketmaster is the devil).

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:41 AM

I got tix for the friday show! thrilled!

Posted by Dave | March 8, 2012 10:42 AM

I would have gone to any of like, 6 different venues/dates, and all were sold out before I could get one page to display.

what a fucking horrible system.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:42 AM

That sucked

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:42 AM

I reloaded and DID lose the tickets in my cart...

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

To 10:04,

Please make yourself known oh great one. I would like to personally buy you a drink. That link you gave got you in there before the actual link on the tour date page went up.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

I just got four GA Floor tickets for 6/1. Amazing.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

F this...had it at payment screen and it crashed. F this

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

hand it to them? are you fucking kidding? their server has BARELY worked for the past 2 hours....failed pages left and right.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

I have a ticket in my cart but won't purchase it because fuck the Prude or whatever that arena's name is

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

so glad I clicked the link 10:04 posted, got mine for night 1

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

Did they charge a service fee on top of the 69.50 ticket price?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

i put two in basket and disappeared on the next screen

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:43 AM

@10:43 - same here. WTF.

Posted by anon e mouse | March 8, 2012 10:46 AM

buying tickets for concerts is such a God damn joke. Youre a loyal fan for years and they put you through this bullshit and charge you a fucking leg.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:46 AM

You fuckers are averaging better than 100 posts per hour on a thread about fan club tickets going on sale?

Ya need to get some lives, seriously.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:46 AM

10:46 - They wouldn't charge as much, if people weren't willing to PAY as much. And they wouldn't put you through hoops, if they knew that people wouldn't put up with it.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:48 AM

if you've got em in your basket, keep trying to refresh. they will go through

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:49 AM

4 PIT tickets for Camden!

Posted by Timmy | March 8, 2012 10:50 AM

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:54 AM

mansfield, sold out, FUCK

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:54 AM

got mine! thank god, that wait was dreadful!

make sure you click on the actual event page for the date you want (ie: for toronto-- http://radiohead.com/tourdates/16-06-12_toronto-on ) then click on the W.A.S.T.E. link from there and not the general http://radiohead.com/tourdates/

be patient it takes a while to load pages.

good luck!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:55 AM

my order went through 20 mins ago successfully, but no confirmation email yet.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:56 AM

3 PIT TIX MOTHERFUCKERS

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:56 AM

thought i didnt get tickets since the site crashed as i was checking out, went to order tracking and it looks like i did get tickets! still waiting on a confirmation email.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:56 AM

Site crashed at payment, money out of my account, no confirmation. Anyone get an email or does it show up in order tracking link?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:56 AM

I got my tickets and confirmation email almost immediately after purchasing

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:58 AM

If you kept refreshing, you really shouldn't have had a problem - or rather, if you had a problem, it was on your end, not WASTE's. I paid for my tickets in one browser and while waiting for the confirmation page to load, refreshed my other browser and got 4 more tickets in my basket (which I didn't purchase of course).

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:58 AM

You should get a confirmation email

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:58 AM

I don't want to talk about it.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:58 AM

I got an email almost right away

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:58 AM

just had 4 tix for thurs...now 'cant open page'

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:58 AM

Then don't.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:58 AM

I got my confirmation email about 10 minutes after the confirmation page loaded (which itself took about 10 minutes of refreshing to load)

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:00 AM

any idea how many presale tickets were available per venue?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:01 AM

can't believe i was there the second waste went onsale and still couldn't pull tickets

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:04 AM

u guys still whining over this? get to work! more tickets on sale this weekend

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:04 AM

Tickets keep showing back up as they drop out of carts. Got both Newark nights plus Camden... all GA.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:06 AM

Just got two for the 31st - keep trying, slowly releasing more (whether that's due to people who timed out, couldn't process payment fast enough, etc. I'm not sure).

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:06 AM

talk about cock teased. oh well.

Posted by steve | March 8, 2012 11:07 AM

Has anyone that used the w.a.s.t.e like posted got a confirmation email?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:08 AM

if you are having problems with email or confirmation page, check your w.a.s.t.e. account page (when/if it loads)... it has confirmation on your order page

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:08 AM

Check your CC balance to see if it went through because Waste is slow...mine went through then checked track my orders and there it was $305.80 for 4 reserved Prudential May 31...painful process but worth it in the end.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:08 AM

But GA blows. Especially in Newark where the entire length of the floor is GA.

WTF! Never had this happen before. I had 2 good seats for the Camden show and lost them. There was a button to reenter information, but that didn't work. What a great morning. : (

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:08 AM

btw, on my waste confirmation page, it says email has not been dispatched (and there is a box to click to have them re-send it)

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:09 AM

Wait a second. A band playing a lifeless album that is a shell of its former self playing a lifeless 20,000 seat area for way too much money. And people are crying about a lack of tickets.
You people are idiots.

Pay $15 to go to a club and see real vital music made by real people from up close. Try it, really.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:10 AM

I have been trying all morning. The site kept crashing, my basket kept turning up empty. But a few minutes ago I was able to get a single seated ticket.

Just keep refreshing. Don't give up.

Love ya.
K_K

Posted by Klaus Kinski | March 8, 2012 11:10 AM

Yeah the confirmation email doesn't always get sent. Bought 4 tickets but crashed at payment screen and didn't get confirmation, so I bought 4 more and now I have 8 according to order tracking (good problem to have, I guess).

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:10 AM

email sent (i am 11:08 & 11:09)

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:12 AM

Just bought two seats for Thursday at 11:11...keep trying

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:12 AM

die fucking scalpers

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:12 AM

Klaus - BV couldn't hook you up?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:13 AM

Is anyone still getting tickets to Newark? It keeps saying Sold Out.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:13 AM

Got 4 tickets in good section for Camden show at 10:35 am with no problem whatsoever. had almost given up at 10:20.
Fucking phenomenal. !!!

Posted by Emily | March 8, 2012 11:13 AM

Oh oops, forgot to release my 4 extra tickets for 6/1. These are about to drop out of my basket now, go go go!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:14 AM

guess I will save $85 and listen to the simulcast on NPR

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:16 AM

Wow, it's like 1998 in here.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:17 AM

I just had 2 mansfield...releasing them so keep checking...date won't work for me

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:20 AM

"But GA blows. Especially in Newark where the entire length of the floor is GA."

You are a complete moron. waste tickets, barring what happened in Atlanta, get you in before everyone else. You get right up front in the GA where i can assure you it sounds better than your seats on the side no matter how close those are to the stage.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:21 AM

Just got two for Camden. Hope I don't get murdered.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:21 AM

I've been on this since 6 and after a panic attack and some tears the tickets have been secured!! Too excited fight now!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:23 AM

Also it does not show it on the seat map for Prudential but i am almost sure that even though the whole floor is GA, they will have barriers up to make sections. Waste tickets will get you up into the front section of the GA

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:24 AM

Tears, really? You're crying about tickets to THIS show? Go kill yourself.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:25 AM

"Klaus - BV couldn't hook you up?"

I wouldn't even ask. I am the least productive member of the BV team.

Posted by Klaus Kinski | March 8, 2012 11:29 AM

I'd rather be on the side, and not with the smelly animals on the floor.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:29 AM

WASTE tickets get you disappointed in their last album

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:32 AM

-11:25 Looks like some troll is unhappy. :p

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:33 AM

11:21

Wow, you mean I can go in at 6pm and stand in place for 5 hours and not eat, piss, or drink. WOW. What an awesome experience.

Radiohead need to fulfill their needs of their aging fanbase and do seated shows. Thank god the show I'm going to is in a Pavilion where I will have a nice reserved seat where I can go back and forth from and miss that induldgent new stuff they're playing.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:46 AM

I got one ticket at 1117, one at 1131, one at 1146.

overall two for 5/31 and one for 6/1

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:52 AM

Which is the more coveted ticket...GA or Reserved?

Posted by Dan | March 8, 2012 11:53 AM

I would take reserved waste over ga anyday...reserved are in the first three sections...I can show up at 8 with no worries..

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 11:57 AM

cobralegs

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:00 PM

In contrast to 11:57 the idiot. You would be crazy to pass over a waste GA ticket for reserved. Like stated above, GA for waste will be sectioned off in the front area so even if you get there close to show time you will still be in front of normal GA ticket holders. Yes you have to stand and cannot sit but for stadium shows the sound is always much better up front rather than on the sides.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:03 PM

1153 really depends what you're on.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:06 PM

Did anyone actually have the opportunity to choose between GA and Reserved Seating? If so, you're a lucky ass.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:07 PM

12:03, before you start throwing around the word "idiot", are you sure that they section off the floor in Newark? I've been to plenty of arena GA shows where they did not section off the floor, and it was one big pit. You may want to check your facts.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:07 PM

Re:the standing issue, even the reserve seated people are gonna be standing for most of the show because as all of us who go to stadium concerts know, everyone in the seats are always sitting down the entire time. Right.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:07 PM

in my experience wuth waste. there has never been a dif section for waste pit holders.

miami 2012
roseland 2011

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:08 PM

guys, the whole floor at the pru is ga. there's going to be a ton of these available on ticketmaster, and since both shows are in newark, you'll be able to get a reserved seat for probably $20 as the show nears as the scalpers start scrambling.

also, i was at one of the roseland shows, and if that's any indication of what to expect in newark, it's just not worth the effort.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:09 PM

I personally cannot be in a GA section of an arena while tripping. Reserved seating for meh.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:09 PM

1209 part 1 - kidding me breh, this is radiohead not nickleback.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:10 PM

I don't give a flip about Newark GA because I saw them at Roseland..it was a sardine fest..seats for me..sure you may get in before others with a waste ticket for the floor but you still got to get there early and some people have work..

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:13 PM

Can Montreal 2012 Radiohead live up to Mexico City 2009 Radiohead? (which easily beat 2008 New Jersey Radiohead) Here's hoping...

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:15 PM

I can't do arena GA because I always have to take a piss at some point. I end up pissing in a beer cup and throwing it over the back of my head. And I just don't want to do that to my fellow RH Fans.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:15 PM

I was at both Roseland shows up front and we got there well after they let people in. It is called shoving and pushing to get your spot. Of course most of you pussies don't have the cojones for that.

Also Roseland is a much smaller GA area than an arena. I bet, if nothing else than crowd control, the Floor though all GA is sectioned off.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:21 PM

Oh and being up front at Roseland for both shows was completely worth the effort. But if seat comfort and easy access is your priority as opposed to best sound well then reserved is the place for you. Hey i am sure Termnal 5 is a great venue for you to see shows at.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:24 PM

^How many shows have you seen at the Prudential Center...yep that is what i thought

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:30 PM

12:21 - You have no idea what you're talking about. Again, I've been to plenty of arena shows in the NYC area (including Newark), where they did not section off the GA pit. Just because they usually do it at MSG & IZOD doesn't mean that they always do it. They never do it that way at Nassau, and I've never seen a show at Pru Center where they sectioned off the GA pit.
Also, not everyone is an animal like you, and wants to push/shove. Some of us are civilized.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:31 PM

I've punched people in the head for pushing.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:34 PM

Stupid argument. Even if the floor is all open with no sections, it is still easy to move around and get up close. Not having to get there way early either and not having to claw your way up there. Although that can be an advantage. It simply comes down to comfort of a seat or wanting the best connection and sound. No doubt about it, up close at big giant shows at places like this is where it sounds best

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:42 PM

My friend started trying for Chicago tickets at 6 AM. I woke up at 9:30 AM and started trying. She'd gotten "sold out" notices all along, as did I when I started. We both just tried refreshing occasionally, and between 10:15 and 10:30 more tickets fell back into availability (pit and seated) and we were able to get a total of 3 tickets more than four hours after the first "sold out" notice occurred.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 12:52 PM

i like to fart in the ga pit

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:03 PM

1252 that'd be cool if it were true. all tickets were placed onsale around 1030am today, no tickets went onsale earlier then that. i've had an alarm macro monitoring the site since midnight; the only changes that occurred to the site were at 715am, 742am, 804am, 924am, 947am, 1015am and 1030am.

and all changes prior to 1030am were backdoor infrastructure changes where coding would be changed but the visible links would remain the same

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:04 PM

1:04 YOU NERD. People like you are reason getting tickets online is a total shit show these days. fuck you in the backdoor infrastructure!

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:10 PM

110 get educated you fucking idiot. these tools are at everyone's disposal.

don't hate the player, hate yourself

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:14 PM

Honestly, if you were sitting at your computer hitting F5 for several hours, and the thought never crossed your mind that there might be an extremely basic computer program that could do this for you just as effectively - if not more effectively - than you were doing on your own, then you don't deserve these tickets. Really. This isn't the 60's.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:16 PM

@1:16- care to share some insight on how to do this? I personally am a tech n00b, would love some advice (couldn't find anything online myself).

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:25 PM

Everyone on the w.a.s.t.e. forum discusses/encourages the use of page monitors and macros for w.a.s.t.e. presales. So yeah, us actual RH fans don't give a shit if someone uses one; fair play. Your chances triple when using one.

And I'm only telling you all this because you'll all forget by the next waste presale.

Posted by Real Talk | March 8, 2012 1:38 PM

macros for dummies:

1. download google chrome.

2. click this link: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/pemhgklkefakciniebenbfclihhmmfcd

3. download/install that add-on

4. set it to check every ~10 seconds, add an alert so it'll notify you when there are coding/formatting changes to the site. yer done.

don't say i never did anything for y'all

Posted by scalper x | March 8, 2012 1:39 PM

anyone who thinks waste GA will be separate from normal GA clearly didn't click the 'seating map' on the waste presale site. whole floor is GA - no differentiation between waste and reg onsale.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:45 PM

1:10, macros like that aren't inherently evil. It's not like you're ruining others' chances, you're just upping your game. Perfectly legal and perfectly smart; I wish I had done it.

As another poster said, waste sales are about doing everything you can to ensure you get em.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 1:46 PM

there are still tickets on there, btw.

I'm 6'1"/160 pounds, so overweight only applies on the moon (well, I am a nerd). I have never seen Radiohead with a chick since my *wife* does not like them.

Have fun.

How did this meathead (aka 1:53) get to this site?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 2:52 PM

how did a meathead go to a thread about radiohead? have you been to a radiohead show in the past 10 years? it's a frat party without the spiked punch.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:04 PM

252 it's called trollin breh

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:05 PM

Hey angry douche 2:52 - how did YOU get to this site, dickweed? You don't belong here. You're ugly and your mom dresses you funny.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:06 PM

just pulled a pair. thanks for the tip. you need to keep refreshing, but they're still out there.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:09 PM

Were there reserve seats available for Montreal?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:16 PM

They will be announcing a proper NYC show within the next two weeks.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:36 PM

Radiohead @ the music hall of williamsburg 6/2/12

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:39 PM

3:36, if that's true, it makes sense that they would try to sell the Newark shows first. Newark is a hard sell, especially if there is an NYC option (i.e. MSG).

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:40 PM

3:39, if that actually happened, the universe would implode. Radiohead playing the ultimate hipster neighborhood.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:43 PM

340 it's what other bands always do; i just thought rad-iohead would be above that. but it probably is true. guess i'll have to see them twice *single teardrop*

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:43 PM

@3:36 how do you know...

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:45 PM

3:36 & 3:39, how do you know ? all US dates removed from buying option list now btw.... must be totally truly sold out on presale

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:48 PM

3:43#1 - Radiohead is above nothing. Even though they are true artists in the sense of the word, they are also in the business of making money.
Although (as crappy as the W.A.S.T.E website is) I give them credit for selling a decent allotment of the best loge sections and the GA to the fans via paperless (and doing so with a cheaper service charge than TM).

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:51 PM

Do you guys ever learn? You idiots keep letting trolls bait you. Radiohead is not announcing any proper NYC dates. Newark and Camden is it. The only spot available for NYC is MSG and it is not happening. Playoffs and then closure mean they could not book it this time around. There is your linsanity for you. Cost us a Radiohead show in the city.
They are not going to play a smaller venue here just to satisfy locals. That was done at Roseland. Sorry you missed it.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:54 PM

What? There's no Santa Claus? No Easter Bunny?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 3:59 PM

"Radiohead is above nothing."

Do people really Radiohead are above anything?

Remembers when years ago they said they were going to "go green" on tour and then played amphitheaters far away from population centers and public transit, forcing people to drive? Oops.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:00 PM

Radiohead at Nassau Colliseum.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:00 PM

354 hot time summer in the city. you're forgetting a lot of venues ;)

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:03 PM

Radiohead at Westbury Theater.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:07 PM

Radiohead at the little band shell on Jones Beach boardwalk the day after the Westbury show.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:07 PM

I don't think Radiohead has played Long Island since they opened for Alanis Morrisette at Jones Beach in 1996.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:08 PM

"354 hot time summer in the city. you're forgetting a lot of venues ;)"

No troll I am not forgetting anything. The band is playing large sized arenas this tour. The only other one available during this time is Nassau Coliseum or PNC Bank. .If they were going to play there it would have been announced already. Playing Jones Beach is a step down and so would any other local venue right now.
Face it kids, this is it for this tour. Maybe if they come back around they play MSG or in late summer even worse they play MET Life Stadium.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:27 PM

or jus as bad, Citi Field or Yankee Stadium

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:28 PM

Westbury Theatre would be simultaneously amazing and hilarious. Spinning Plates, anyone?

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:30 PM

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:43 PM

427: i'm talking about yankees stadium and randall's island. pull your head out of your ass.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 4:53 PM

@4:42 He did that shit every time the camera panned by. What an attention grabbing cunt.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:01 PM

4:53, You are hoping they play even bigger shit places? Then you tell someone else to pull their head out of their ass?
That certainly takes the cake on here. The biggest jackass on the planet speaking down to someone else. Now i have seen it all.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:16 PM

Yankee Stadium ain't happening. Staging a show at the stadium is cost prohibitive. Roger Waters, Madonna, and Macca can have shows there because they can charge $300+ per ticket, and their fans wouldn't bat an eyelash. Radiohead wouldn't do that.
They're not doing Randall's Island either. They're doing arenas. Period.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:19 PM

516 not hoping, just stating facts.

and i'm talking down to you because you clearly can't take a hint regarding the existence of outdoor venues in NYC that hold over 20,000 people.

And that's just not true about the necessary ticket price for a Yankees Stadium show. I'd go into logistics, but your claim is just dumb. The amount of special events that they host at Yankee's Stadium in the off-season where ticket prices are under $50 is proof enough.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:40 PM

its sad that 350 comments later you people are still talking about this.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:48 PM

I'm not talking about staging "special events" at Yankee Stadium... I'm talking about staging a concert. Building a stage, paying for extra security, paying the city for police OT. Other incidental costs. Much different than just having a special event there.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 5:55 PM

Off season is cheaper. During the season, the field needs to be maintained. Not cheap.

OFF! season - Keith Morris sucker punch Thom Yorke in his screwing eye

"and i'm talking down to you because you clearly can't take a hint regarding the existence of outdoor venues in NYC that hold over 20,000 people."

You are not talking down to anyone you fucking dummy. Maybe you should have read the comments in the thread more carefully. It was clearly stated that the point was Radiohead on this tour is only playing arenas not smaller venues and not stadiums. They don't want to play either of those sizes. Yankee stadium and Randalls Island fall into the category of size they don't want to play. The only place in the NYC area that fit the criteria for them is MSG and that is not an option

Now please go fuck off.

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 6:26 PM

wha wha no you're a big dummy wha no you are wha wha

fucking 3 year olds on here

Posted by Anonymous | March 8, 2012 10:04 PM

I just came to comment that BV comments are so typical. Everyone is bitching, hating, hummus, frohawk etc.Be more original please.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 9:50 AM

"The biggest jackass on the planet speaking down to someone else. Now i have seen it all."

"You are not talking down to anyone you fucking dummy. Maybe you should have read the comments in the thread more carefully."

haha okay. contradict yourself a bit more and maybe i'll get your point.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:15 AM

Capacity of Randall's Island is pretty much the same as MSG (around 17,000) so the 'size they don't want to play' thing is just wrong.

And why is everyone saying that an MSG show is an impossibility? It'll be Basketball off-season, and there's no summer construction on MSG like last year. An MSG show seems obvious to me.

Posted by Um. | March 9, 2012 10:21 AM

6/20 and 6/21 at MSG, you heard it here first.

Posted by w.a.s.t.e.oid | March 9, 2012 10:26 AM

Dude is correct. Newark is it for the tri-state area. Suck it up and take the train.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:41 AM

^fat chance

Posted by On a Friday | March 9, 2012 10:42 AM

Yep Newark is it..how many times did Radiohead only play NJ and not NY? Many times...2001, 2008 and now 2012..

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:45 AM

My fat chance was directed at the MSG date dude

Posted by On a Friday | March 9, 2012 10:45 AM

On a lighter note, I hope Garbage announces an area show soon.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:46 AM

You NYC concert goers are so whiny..it is so easy to go to Newark.. IZOD/Jones Beach?PNC is a pain in the ass but Prudential is a piece of cake...really...

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:47 AM

"On a lighter note, I hope Garbage announces an area show soon."

YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES. two dates in LA, none in NYC what the fuuuuuuck

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:51 AM

Posted by butt-head | March 9, 2012 10:52 AM

Blur in NY would be great!

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:53 AM

garbage just announced a bunch of april dates on the west coast (utah, colorado, arizona, nevada) and some in midwest (texas); expect an east coast announcement within the next few weeks.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 10:56 AM

Sweet, Garbage will be cooler than Radiohead anyways

Version 2.0 >>>> King Of Limbs

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 11:48 AM

I'd see Garbage at Irving or something. Dear lord not T5.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 11:51 AM

Will probably end up being at T5 though.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 11:56 AM

^Yup just like Cranberries

Posted by Shirley | March 9, 2012 12:05 PM

UGH god terminal 5 fuck that i'm not going. (but in a second tab i'm refreshing like mad to get those tickets).

Just cause it doesn't sound like the blu ray on your bose surround sound doesn't mean it's not worth going to you smug idiots.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 12:36 PM

There has to be a way to improve the acoustics at T5. Cover the hard walls. Move some of the PAs. Something.

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 2:41 PM

^Sounds good in the front...

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 2:44 PM

It doesn't matter what the sound is like because no matter where Garbage plays it will sound like GARBAGE!

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 2:44 PM

Ehhh, I've been in the front and you run the risk of hearing nothing but a single instrument's amp overpowering everything else.

Posted by deaf | March 9, 2012 3:05 PM

@305 i don't think he means that close up front

@all it'll probably be t5, but it'll still be balls out. although in LA they did two shows at the el rey (900 capacity) instead of a bigger venue. maybe we'll luck out and get two shows at webster or irving

Posted by Anonymous | March 9, 2012 3:38 PM
