Bone Awl @ Saint Vitus
Bone Awl celebrated their tenth anniversary with a sold out show at Saint Vitus on Friday (4/6), one of two area shows for the primitive black metal trio (who played Red Light District the next night). Bone Awl was joined by Negative Plane and Villains (who performed as a trio for the weekend) at Saint Vitus, with the latter then going on to play another whopper of a show at Acheron the next night with Midnight, Parasytic & Trenchgrinder (pictures on the way).

Villains sucked and were downright pissy when somebody told them so. The drummer flipped off the person who said they sucked AFTER they were done, even though that happened, like, halfway through their set. Not going to win any fans with that thin skin, buddy.

Villains dude said that their guitarist Teeth wasn't playing because he "broke his shit," whatever that means.
This was my 3rd or 4th time seeing Negative Plane, they've had hooded sweatshirts every time I've seen them. I don't get the complaints about the sound either, I was right upfront and it sounded great. Maybe the kick drum was a little much.
