11:17 were you there? It was a great show

They lost me for about 3 songs. Can't imagine what they're like without live strings. Probably snoozeville. Chatty shithead audience who hit 3 shows a year didn't help.

it was actually 9:55 on the dot when they got on. same tonight and tomorrow.

the set ran from 9:00 to 10:39. tight show, audience could have been livelier. the strings are a cool addition and the show definately had a different feel than from the transatlantisism tour (when I last saw them). they sort of resisted their edgier guitar rockness a bit, but i guess all things must evolve... i would have loved to hear more from the photo album and before.

The audience was nearly completely seated until the last 3-4 songs. Subdued audience with the exception of people having random conversations about anything other than what was taking place on stage and the occasional "FUCK YA" scream..which fell on deaf ears.

Weird vibe.

They played a cover of "an NYC band" on Friday. What song was that?

Posted by Night1 | April 29, 2012 1:01 PM

It was a great audience. People actually stayed in their seats instead of standing up like complete morons.

I think it was Velvet Underground's "I'll be your mirror"

you don't even know VU songs. A sure sign you should spend less time typing and more time listening
