GZA at MHOW earlier this month (more by Erik Erikson)
GZA

As mentioned, GZA who just played MHOW with Bad Brains, will return to the Brooklyn venue on June 14 to play Liquid Swords in full, backed by Grupo Fantasma. That show sold out but GZA just announced a late show to happen at Music Hall of Williamsburg that same night (6/14). Like the early show, it is part of the Northside Festival and he'll be performing Liquid Swords backed by Grupo Fantasma. Tickets go on sale Friday (5/4) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (5/2) at noon.

Grupo Fantasma will co-headline their own Brooklyn show at the Bell House on 7/13 with Debo Band. Tickets are on sale.

That Gza fellow seems like he may enjoy a nice tug on the old marihuana from time to time.

Indeed it does appear this African amerian gentleman does have some rather impressive talents with the rhyming and the ol' beat boxing. My attendance to the upcoming show is certainly going to be the talk of the office! Oh dear...

I wonder if GZA eats dogs too?

Shucks... That old yappy Gza man still up at them shows rhyming dual of the iron mic in 2012. I sure wish he'd do that ol' Bobby Digital routine with the hip thrust dance moves and whatnot. That is truly a riveting performance.

Liquid swords is not boring. One of the top 5 modern hip hop albums of all time.

Occasionally I will play a Wu-Tang cd in my Lexus when I'm driving through parts of brooklyn. It most certainly has an enjoyable quality and I very well may purchase a couple tickets and nod the old cranium back and forth as is the custom at such rap music concerts.
