This is the opening act at St. Vitus tonight?

Posted by Anonymous | April 2, 2012 5:09 PM

My gay friends are going nuts over this announcement

Oh and wrong 5:02, not a scalpfest at all. Last time they played Bowery which was not so long ago the show was a fake s e l l out and scalpers were getting shit. Bowery kept making more tix available and were selling at the door as well. It was all hype and then nothing.

Butt-holes be lubing

Posted by Anonymous | April 2, 2012 5:28 PM

i got brown nail from that dude.

Posted by Anonymous | April 2, 2012 5:57 PM

@526 that's the case with... literally every show that exists. it's all about playing the hype to your advantage and making profit off it.

Posted by Anonymous | April 2, 2012 6:14 PM

One time I had some hummus and no pita triangles or silverware available, so I had "tan nail".

Posted by Anonymous | April 2, 2012 6:26 PM

@6:14 shutup troll. Fake scalper.

Posted by Anonymous | April 2, 2012 6:44 PM

Posted by Anonymous | April 2, 2012 9:53 PM

best band name

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 11:20 AM

who posts homophobic and racist comments on brooklyn vegan?

i have a novel idea that the homophobes that show up in Scissor Sisters posts are not "hipsters," but the real comment user base of this site - bitter thirtysomethings that think pavement and other nineties detritus are the beginning and end of music. i always thought you people were closet douchebgags, so i like to think these homophobic comments prove that true.

or i guess it could be the older metalheads...

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 11:39 AM

whoever they are, they certainly aren't musicians

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 11:43 AM

I love that they have an album name "Ta Daaa!" So gay.

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 12:09 PM

worst band name ever.

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 12:24 PM

^ Nope, that belongs to the Bouncing Souls. Scissor Sisters IS a stupid name though.

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 1:04 PM

We're not closeted, we're openly homophobic.

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 1:10 PM

Music does begin and end with Pavement, at least you got that part right.

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 1:44 PM

ur all stupid.... great band. great music

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 2:25 PM

Is the penile unit shown in photo above a 7.5?

Posted by Anonymous | April 3, 2012 3:40 PM

Was anyone able to pull up pre-sale tickets??

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 12:11 PM

Totally shut out at 12:00PM - kept trying and nothing. StubHub has tickets though .

Posted by April | April 4, 2012 12:22 PM

Yeah, I was shut out from 12:00 too.

Posted by M | April 4, 2012 12:24 PM

Scalp city bitch, scalp, scalp city, bitch.

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 12:27 PM

Ten, ten, ten, twenties on ya tiddies, bitch.

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 12:29 PM

I understand quantities are limited & demand was greater than supply & all that, but everyone I know who was looking for tickets got shut out. So I don't understand how there can be 64 listings on StubHub.

Furthermore, I don't know how some of these StubHub sellers claim to have 12 tickets, or 7 tickets available when there was only a 4 ticket max on Ticketmaster. (I mean, I'm assuming they're fraudulent, or they're selling tickets they HOPE to get.) Either way-- annoying.

Posted by M | April 4, 2012 12:36 PM

Nah, I actually bought 12 tickets. That listing is mine. Ask me to change the price and I'll make it whatever you want.

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 12:38 PM

LULZ, ut oh. There is gonna be a riot in the gay community tonight over who got tix and who got shut out.

@12:38, do not blame scalpers.Blame your gay compatriots. This show is like a gay holiday. You are right those tix on SH are not real. Just happen to be every homosexual in the city tried to get tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 12:50 PM

TA DAAAAAAAAA!

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 12:59 PM

You people are so stupid. I just wrote that the listing is mine. Morons. Keep debating whether or not listings are real and wondering why you got none.

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 1:12 PM

BTW, I'm upping the price to $200 now. Bitches.

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 1:13 PM

That's right Chelsea boys, bend over and spread 'em. It's 4x face time!

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 1:25 PM

I like grapefruit flavored lube.

Posted by Anonymous | April 4, 2012 8:33 PM

If it's not too late- I can take four off of your hands for 10 dollars above face value. Have a friend coming to town specifically for this and can't afford more. Let me know

Posted by Jeremy | April 5, 2012 2:39 AM

What is the over/under on if there will be any straight people there. That does not include fag hag girls going with their gay buddies.

Posted by Anonymous | April 6, 2012 2:38 PM

thanks a lot for this post ,I will surely bookmark your blog Trust me, it's more than worth it to have an actual job. And I like some of these artists. It's not like there's a lack of awesome nighttime shows in NYC.
