Ted Nugent

Ted writes:

"...By no stretch of the imagination did I ever threaten anyone's life, or hint of violence or mayhem. Metaphors needn't be explained to educated people.

I passionately rallied the American civilian troops to stand up for what is right and demand that the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights be once again the measure of all laws and policies in America.

Then in their ever-desperate scramble to divert attention from the crimes of their communist leaders, the Saul Alinsky "Rules for Radicals" left-wing media and terminally liberal Democrats circled their battlewagons of deceit and hate and unleashed their tsunami of lies about me and everything I said.

To me, my family and thinking America, the dysfunctional left-wing hate hysteria was laughable. I became the No. 1 global tweet entity, while every newspaper and America-hating television and radio gang literally tripped over themselves in a feeble attempt to out-lie each other.

I personally have never been prouder. If my daily activities and simple statements of truth and logic can cause such bizarre overreaction by so many, I need no more evidence that I am on the right track. When doing God's work, the devils go bonzo. So be it.

I stand by my statements. The line is drawn in the American sand. I stand with patriots who love this country. We wake up early every day to put our hearts and souls into being assets for America, our fellow Americans, the people of the world and the good earth.

Those who despise me blindly chant Mao Zedong and Che Guevara rants, and the difference between our good and their bad is glaring.

Choose your side carefully, America. The shining city on the hill is under attack from within. [Ted Nugent in the Washington Times (via)]

Ted is heading out on tour with STYX & REO Speedwagon this summer, and hitting the Borgata in Atlantic City along the way.

He was perfectly ok with the policies enacted when Bush was President though.

We should all definitely listen to what the great poet Ted Nugent (The Nuge), author of Wang Dang Sweet Poontang and Cat Scratch Fever has to say about politics.

He's a bit of a nut, but the reaction to his initial utterances were borderline psychotic in their stupidity.

I was going to say that he should be banished to his own personal hell, but then I saw he's touring with Styx and REO Speedwagon. Problem solved.

@ 10:12 - After brandishing 2 machine guns on stage and saying Obama should suck on one and Hillary should ride the other into the sunset, after claiming that he'd either be dead or in jail if Obama were reelected, I think the response was reasonable.

Do I think this guy would actually shoot the president if it came down to it? Eh, probably not. He's obviously more of a showman than an actual badass. But he's sure fanning the flames of racism and violence.

Gotta love the liberal double standard. Like Rush is evil for calling the political operative college student a "slut" but Bill Maher is just doing comedy by calling Sarah Palin a "c_nt". For those who believe themselves to be educated and enlightened, you motherfuckers sure are ignorant.

I'm disgusted that a group or purported artists and free thinkers would criticize a guy for actually exercising his right of free speech. Oh, I forgot, you don't like those who disagree with your philosophy.

You would never be tolerated by the founding fathers.

Liberals bitching about draft dodging? Look in the mirror:

August 19, 1964 - Clinton registers for the draft
--[Washington Post Sep 13 92]

September 1964 - Clinton, age 18, enters Georgetown University
--[The Comeback Kid, CF Allen and J Portis, p. 20]

November 17, 1964- Clinton is classified 2-S (student deferment). This will shield him from the draft throughout his undergraduate years.
---[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

February 16, 1968 - "The Johnson administration unexpectedly abolished graduate deferments."
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

March 20, 1968 - Clinton, age 21, is classified 1-A, eligible for induction, as he nears graduation from Georgetown.
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

Comment: Bill Clinton was the only man of his prime draft age classified1-A by that draft board in 1968 whose pre-induction physical examination was put off for 10.5 months. This delay was more than twice as long as anyone else and more than five times longer than most area men of comparable eligibility.
--[Los Angeles Times Sep 02 92]

Summer 1968 - Political and family influence keeps Clinton out of the draft. Robert Corrado -- the only surviving Hot Springs draft board member from that period -- concluded that Clinton's draft statement (the long delays) was the result of "some form of preferential treatment." According to the Times, "Corrado recalled that the chairman of the three-man draft panel ... once held back Clinton's file with the explanation that 'we've got to give him time to go to Oxford,' where the semester began in the fall of 1968.

Corrado also complained that he was called by an aide to then Senator J. William Fulbright urging him and his fellow board members to 'give every consideration' to keep Clinton out of the draft so he could attend Oxford.

Throughout the remainder of 1968, Corrado said, Clinton's draft file was routinely held back from consideration by the full board. Consequently, although he was classified 1-A on March 20, 1968, he was not called for his physical exam until Feb 3, 1969, while he was at Oxford.

Clinton's Uncle Raymond Clinton personally lobbied Senator Fulbright, William S. Armstrong, the chairman of the three-man Hot Springs draft board, and Lt. Comdr. Trice Ellis, Jr., commanding officer of the local Navy reserve unit, to obtain a slot for Clinton in the Naval Reserve.

Clinton secured a "standard enlisted man's billet, not an officer's slot which would have required Clinton to serve two years on active duty beginning within 12 months of his acceptance." This Navy Reserve assignment was "created especially for the Bill Clinton at a time in 1968 when no existing reserve slots were open in his hometown unit."

According to the LA Times, "after about two weeks waiting for Bill Clinton to arrive for his preliminary interview and physical exam, Ellis said he called (Clinton's uncle) Raymond to inquire - 'What happened to that boy?' According to Ellis, Clinton's uncle replied - 'Don't worry about it. He won't be coming down. "It's all been taken care of.' "
--[LA Times Sep 02 92]

Fall 1968 - Because of the local draft board's continuing postponement of his pre-induction physical, Clinton is able to enroll at Oxford Univ.
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

February 2, 1969 - While at Oxford, Clinton finally takes and passes a military physical examination.
--[Washington Times Sep 18 92]

April 1969 - Clinton receives induction notice from the Hot Springs AR draft board. Clinton however claims that the draft board told him to ignore the notice because it arrived after the deadline for induction.
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

June-July 1969 - Clinton receives a second induction notice with a July 28 induction date and returns home.
--[Wash Times Sep 18 92]

July 11, 1969 - Clinton's friend at Oxford, Cliff Jackson, writes, "Clinton is feverishly trying to find a way to avoid entering the Army as a drafted private. I have had several of my friends in influential positions trying to pull strings on Bill's behalf."
-- [LA Times Sep 26 92]

Clinton benefited from yet another lobbying campaign in order to evade this induction notice. "Democratic presidential candidate Bill Clinton, who has said he did not pull strings to avoid the Vietnam-era draft, was able to get his Army induction notice canceled in the summer of 1969 after a lobbying effort directed at the Republican head of the state draft agency." Arrangements were made for Clinton to meet with Col. Williard A. Hawkins who "was the only person in Arkansas with authority to rescind a draft notice. ... The apparently successful appeal to Hawkins was planned while Clinton was finishing his first year as a Rhodes scholar in England. Clinton's former friend and Oxford classmate, Cliff Jackson -- now an avowed political critic of the candidate -- said it was pursued immediately upon Clinton's return to AR in early July 1969 to beat a July 28 deadline for induction."
-- [LA Times Sep 26 92]

Comment: Jackson's statement is contrary to Clinton's repeated assertions that he received no special treatment in avoiding military service. "(I) never received any unusual or favorable treatment." [LA Times Sep 02 92]

August 7, 1969 - Clinton is reclassified 1-D after he arranges to enter the ROTC program at the University of Arkansas.
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

According to Cliff Jackson, Clinton's Oxford classmate, Clinton used the ROTC program to "kill the draft notice, to avoid reporting on the July 28 induction date, which had already been postponed. And he did that by promising to serve his country in the ROTC, number one, to enroll in the law school that fall ... and he never enrolled."
--[Wash Times Sep 17 92]

Comment - Clinton's admission into the ROTC program again runs contrary to his repeated statements that he received no special treatment in order to evade military service. Col. Eugene Holmes, commander of the University of Arkansas ROTC program, said Clinton was admitted after pressure from the Hot Springs draft board and the office of Senator J. William Fulbright (D-AR).

Again, Clinton was receiving preferential treatment. In addition, records from the Army reveal that Clinton was not legally eligible for the ROTC program at that time. Army regulations required recruits to be enrolled at the university and attending classes full-time before being admitted to an ROTC program.

Fall 1969 - Clinton returns to Oxford for a second year. Clinton was supposed to be at the Arkansas Law School. However, according to Cliff Jackson, "Sen. Fulbright's office and Bill himself continued to exert tremendous pressure on poor Col. Holmes to get him [Clinton] to go back to Oxford."
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

September 14, 1969 - The Arkansas Gazette, published in Little Rock, headlined a draft suspension was reportedly planned by the President.

Comment - The article, citing a source, said Selective Service reforms when implemented, would only permit the conscription of 19-year-old men. In addition, the source said "the Army would send to Vietnam only enlistees, professional soldiers, and those draftees who volunteered to go." The source contended that these reforms, combined with troop withdrawals, "would put pressure on the Congress to enact draft legislation already proposed by the President ... and set up a lottery to conscript only 19-year-old men," the Gazette reported.

From his letter to Col. Holmes, Bill Clinton said "....Finally, on Sept. 12 I stayed up all night writing a letter to the chairman of my draft board,......I never mailed the letter, but I did carry it on me every day until I got on the plane to return to England.". It is very probable that Bill Clinton was in the United States and well aware of the above proposal on Sep 14, 1969. Bill Clinton was 23 years old.

September 19, 1969 - "President Nixon, facing turmoil on college campuses, suspended draft calls for November and December of 1969 and said the October call would be spread out over three months."
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

The President also indicated that if the Congress did not act to establish a lottery system, he would remove by executive order the vulnerability to the draft of all men age 20 to 26.

Comment - Again, Clinton was 23 years old.

September-October 1969 - "At some point, Clinton decided to make himself eligible for the draft and said in February 1992 his stepfather had acted in his behalf to accomplish this. Newsweek, attributing the information to campaign officials, said this all happened in Oct 1969. Clinton spokesperson Betsey Wright ... said she believed it took place in September. The difference is potentially significant. ... If Clinton did not act to give up his deferment until October, he could have known he faced no liability from the draft until the following summer, that he could take his chances with the lottery and find alternative service if he got a low number."
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

October 1, 1969 - "Nixon announced that anyone in graduate school could complete the full year."
--[Wash Post Sep 13 92]

Comment - Clinton is now safe from the draft through June 1970.

October 1969 - President Nixon suspends call-up of additional draftees until a draft lottery is held in December.

October 15, 1969 - Clinton organized and led anti-war demonstrations in London.
-- [Wash Times Sep 18 92]

Comment - According to McSorley, Clinton's demonstrations "had the support of British peace organizations" such as the British Peace Council, an arm of the KGB-backed World Peace Council.

October 30, 1969 - Clinton is reclassified 1-A, eligible for induction.
--[Wash Times Sep 28 92]

Comment - "Clinton said he put himself into the draft by contacting his draft board in September or October and asking to be reclassified 1-A. ... It is not clear, however, whether that occurred at Clinton's urging or whether his failure to enroll at University of Arkansas automatically cancelled his 1-D deferment."

Clinton has never produced any evidence to substantiate his claim that he initiated his reclassification.

November 16, 1969 - Clinton organized and led anti-war demonstrations in London.

December 1, 1969 - Clinton draws #311 in the first draft lottery.
--[Wash Times Sep 18 92]

Comment - Clinton was virtually assured that he would not be drafted because of the high lottery number.

December 3, 1969 - While still in England, Clinton writes to Lt. Col. Eugene Holmes, , commander of the University of Arkansas ROTC Program and states, "From my work I came to believe that the draft system is illegitimate ... I decided to accept the draft in spite of my beliefs for one reason - to maintain my political viability."

Not just Clinton ....

Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden received five student draft deferments during the Vietnam War, the same number of deferments received by Vice President Dick Cheney, and later was disqualified from service because of asthma as a teenager.

Officials with Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s campaign released Biden’s Selective Service records at the request of The Associated Press. Less detailed records were available from a National Archives facility in Philadelphia.

According to the documents, Biden, 65, received several deferments while he was an undergraduate at the University of Delaware and later as a law student at Syracuse University. A month after undergoing a physical exam in April 1968, Biden received a Selective Service classification of 1-Y, meaning he was available for service only in the event of national emergency. …

In “Promises to Keep,” a memoir that was published last year and became an instant best-seller after he was tapped as Obama’s running mate, Biden never mentions his asthma, recounting an active childhood, work as a lifeguard and football exploits in high school.

Not just Clinton and Biden ....

A back condition wins Dean a Vietnam-era draft deferment
By Sarah Schweitzer and Tatsha Robertson, Globe Staff, 9/21/2003

In February of 1970, with the Vietnam War raging, 21-year-old Howard Dean carried a set of X-rays and a letter from a Manhattan orthopedist named Hudson Wilson to Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, where US military doctors determined that he was not fit for military service because of a back condition called spondylolisthesis.

Dean was classified 1Y, according to military records, meaning he was exempt from service for the duration of the war and free to head to Colorado after his Yale graduation, where he skied at Aspen and poured concrete. Spondylolisthesis is a condition caused by an unfused vertebra. When diagnosed nearly four years earlier, he was cleared to participate in all sports except long-distance running.

"I didn't try to get out of the draft," Dean has said. "I had a physical."

Among the candidates vying for the presidency, Senator John F. Kerry and retired General Wesley K. Clark served in the Vietnam War. The others served in the National Guard, were too young for the draft, or were recipients of deferments. President Bush served in the National Guard.

Military service is nonetheless a potential political minefield. Dean is mindful of that.

"The United States government said this is your classification," he said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "I'm not responsible for that. I didn't have anything to do with the decision. That was their choice."

The basis for his classification is difficult to document. The Selective Service System, following standard procedure, destroyed all records in Dean's file save his classification listings. Dean said he did not keep copies of the X-rays or Wilson's letter. Nor did he keep a copy, he said, of the letter he believes he wrote requesting a deferral from military service. His physician, Wilson, is dead.

Dean drew a relatively low lottery number -- 143 out of 300 -- meaning he could have been called up after college, according to Lewis Brodsky, a Selective Service spokesman.

At Yale, Dean did not support the war but was not vocal. He took part in one protest, by his count. He said he was not overly worried about being drafted and said the reason he wrote a letter seeking a military medical exam was to clarify his standing.

"No, I wasn't obsessed. My attitude is -- if there is a problem, you ought to face it and deal with it," Dean said.

He later added, "I guess maybe I wasn't that concerned. I was just concerned enough. I think what I really wanted to know was whether I should go to officer candidate school, or something like that."

In high school, Dean considered having an operation to relieve the back condition but decided against it because it required a long convalescence. In college, he played intramural football. In Vermont, Dean hiked half of the 265-mile Long Trail and canoed the entire Connecticut River. Today, Dean says, the back injury still causes occasional pain.

But if Dean has largely lived without notice of his condition, it has trailed him nonetheless. When he chose to seek the presidency, Dean made sure official records of his health problem contained no surprises.

"We didn't want my draft file becoming public without knowing what was in it," he said.

Not just Clinton, Biden, and Dean ...

At a ceremony honoring veterans and senior citizens who sent presents to soldiers overseas, Attorney General Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut rose and spoke of an earlier time in his life.

“We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam,” Mr. Blumenthal said to the group gathered in Norwalk in March 2008. “And you exemplify it. Whatever we think about the war, whatever we call it — Afghanistan or Iraq — we owe our military men and women unconditional support.”

There was one problem: Mr. Blumenthal, a Democrat now running for the United States Senate, never served in Vietnam. He obtained at least five military deferments from 1965 to 1970 and took repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war, according to records.

The deferments allowed Mr. Blumenthal to complete his studies at Harvard; pursue a graduate fellowship in England; serve as a special assistant to The Washington Post’s publisher, Katharine Graham; and ultimately take a job in the Nixon White House.

In 1970, with his last deferment in jeopardy, he landed a coveted spot in the Marine Reserve, which virtually guaranteed that he would not be sent to Vietnam. He joined a unit in Washington that conducted drills and other exercises and focused on local projects, like fixing a campground and organizing a Toys for Tots drive.

Many politicians have faced questions over their decisions during the Vietnam War, and Mr. Blumenthal, who is seeking the seat being vacated by Senator Christopher J. Dodd, is not alone in staying out of the war.

But what is striking about Mr. Blumenthal’s record is the contrast between the many steps he took that allowed him to avoid Vietnam, and the misleading way he often speaks about that period of his life now, especially when he is speaking at veterans’ ceremonies or other patriotic events.

Sometimes his remarks have been plainly untrue, as in his speech to the group in Norwalk. At other times, he has used more ambiguous language, but the impression left on audiences can be similar.

Fact - Wilson got us into WWI
Fact - Roosevelt got us into WWII
Fact - Truman got us into Korea
Fact - Kennedy got us into Vietnam and Johnson kept us there
Fact - Carter tried and failed to free the hostages in Iran by military force (which Reagan did by diplomacy)
Fact - Clinton got us into Somalia and Kosovo
Fact - Obama followed the Bush-brokered agreement to remove troops from Iraq 2011
Fact - Obama increased troops in Afghanistan and sent military support to Egypt, Libya, etc. etc.

Liberals do not like to read. Liberals would rather make things up and get emotional about lies and propaganda,

I live in NYC to be as far away from right wingers as possible. Please shut up and go away from BV.

Right wing thought is anacrhonistic and out of touch with reality. It is as pointless to argue with right wingers as it is to argue with spoiled children. They make no sense. Their view is that you are either a gun toting, America backing (no matter what our country does), tax hating, government hating, bank/corporation loving (no matter what they do), jesus loving, muslim hating, "patriot" OR... you are a communist. I mean... who could really take these people seriously? They hate people who want to make the country they love a civilized place for everyone... not just the privileged.

Clinton was against the war, so he did what he thought was right. Fine. Right Wingers are warmongerers who draft dodge... do you not see the difference?

And what is with their obsession trying to claim that Limbaugh is equivalent to Bill Maher? Limbaugh actually is a misogynist asshole. Maher is obviously not. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. Using the word "cunt" in a joke, does not make you as much of a disgusting pig as Limbaugh. Right Wingers just don't get it.

By the way, the owner of Public Assembly in Williamsburg is Ted Nugent's son. Until he publically calls his dad a nut job who he disagrees with, i won't be supporting any of his establishments.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:26 AM

It's funny how the people with the real power, those that benefit from hatred and division, that manipulate and create wars for profit keep us divided by these imaginary "liberal" and "conservative" labels.

“You hate America, don't you?'

That would be as silly as loving it,' I said. 'It's impossible for me to get emotional about it, because real estate doesn't interest me. It's no doubt a great flaw in my personality, but I can't think in terms of boundaries. Those imaginary lines are as unreal to me as elves and pixies. I can't believe that they mark the end or the beginning of anything of real concern to a human soul. Virtues and vices, pleasures and pains cross boundaries at will.”

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:29 AM

11:26 - you need to stop now. You are delusional. And, I live in NYC too, but I was fucking born here not coming as an interloper douche driving working peoples' rents up and causing a dilution of culture. You go home to mommy and daddy.

11:38 - you absolutely do go around looking down on people. Your words are filled with vile hatred, and you are not even articulate or rational in your use of them. Just stop now, you troll. Moreover, your need to defend yourself with a whole paragraph about how you are actually from Brooklyn really does betray your true pedigree. You are an interloper, and (big surprise) I don't believe a word that comes from a delusional leftist fool such as you. I know that they are all lies, whether or not you can see them as such.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:41 AM

Hey, how do you keep a leftist ideologue in suspense?

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:42 AM

classic liberal misdirect. so predictable.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:44 AM

alright guys... everyone off the fucking music blog. pedal this shit somewhere else.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:45 AM

I look down on right wing evil pricks like you.. correct. Another false equivalency. There is a difference between hating evil pricks and hating poor, sick people.

I never mentioned "Brooklyn" a single time. Who is delusional? You don't know me... you don't know anything besides the inside of your Fox News Rush Limbaugh bubble. Call me an "interloper"? What the fuck is that?

There is no such thing as "leftist" in my world. Only people who look out for their country as a whole, or those like you who do not.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:45 AM

metal on metal

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:46 AM

seriously 11:41, you are a fucking troll, go throw on some hannity or creed or whatever it is you get down to on your own time, and then go fuck your own face somewhere

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:47 AM

11:26 and 11:33, you are both hateful pricks, and both contribute to the epidemic of high-and-mighty partisan thinking that is eating away at this country.

Leftism = conservatism
Obama = Bush

We are all Americans who all want the same things in life - happiness, health, financial security, family. The political matrix is cruelly distorted in this country; it is all the SAME SHIT and the ones with real power in this country FEED OFF YOUR PETTY DISAGREEMENTS.

Until we all fucking wake up and realize this, there is no hope for us.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:49 AM

@1149, actually I'm not an american, and couldn't be happier about that fact.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:53 AM

11:49- I'm 11:26 and also said that I don't care about left or right- only looking our for what's best for the country as a whole. The right does not care about the country as a whole... only regressing to an idyllic time that never actually existed.

So... yeah, you didn't really know what you are talking about.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:54 AM

11:49 - I am 11:33 and I never for a second defended Bush (that was one of the several straw men thrown up by the crazy lefty on here), or the institutional bloated corrupt current government system. And by pointing out the hypocrisy of the left, I do not think that this qualifies to be lumped into a "partisan" bucket. If you need to do that to avoid the issues, than that's OK brother, I'm not gonna get down on you. You are obviously thinking about the big picture, and I have faith that with more like us, with free access to information (e.g. not sound bites and government propaganda) we will win.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:55 AM

Note the difference in tone between 11:54 (11:26) and 11:55 (11:33). Note the condescension and bitterness in the former, note the inclusion in the latter. If we just stop and listen, we will all know what is going on here.

Do not be brow beaten or intimidated. Stand up!

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 11:58 AM

Radiohead blows.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:00 PM

"The right does not care about the country as a whole... only regressing to an idyllic time that never actually existed."

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Stop misrepresenting other people. If you have a point of view which you believe is superior, than state it. We all have the ability to think and decide. Don't be a hater.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:01 PM

It's lunch time and I'm hungry. Any of you know where I can get some nice Indonesian dog to eat?

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:02 PM

Thanks for your words, 11:33. Sorry if in my passionate speel I misunderstood your intentions - keep fighting the good fight.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:10 PM

@1202 wow you're a fucking idiot.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:15 PM

I hear Ted Nugent likes to use his shotgun as an anal dildo.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:27 PM

^ Funny, I heard your mother likes to get reamed in all of her holes by big black dicks. I just love the internet.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:33 PM

I heard the same thing about that shotgun, also no need to worry about 1233, he's just projecting because his father played with his dick before he put him to bed when he was younger.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:36 PM

It's all cool 12:04. This shit gets us all riled up, especially this year with the racial/class/age/geographic war being fomented by the current administration. The left's goal has always been to divide and conquer. If we unite in the things that we agree in, we will both find that our goals are really similar and that we are able to not just resist but overcome the manipulating self-appointed oligarchs and put them out from being able to screw with us. It might take time, ferreting out the weasels, but we will win.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:40 PM

I heard the same thing about 12:27's mom loving that big black dick, but don't worry about 12:36 (redundant, I know) since he loves that big black dick too!

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 12:43 PM

This dude needs to fall face first on a steaming pile of dicks.

SO who will you being voting for, Romney?

"The left's goal has always been to divide and conquer."

I love how right wingers always pull the "i know you are but what am i" bullshit.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 1:24 PM

i have to take issue with the person that likens being a patriot to serving in the armed forces in a time of war.

nearly all wars are bullshit, and based on lies.

i would never kill another person because i had the 'ok' from my government.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 1:50 PM

You guys are sure wasting a lot of energy trying to prove a draft dodger is really a right wing patriot.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 1:52 PM

^ you mean Clinton or Biden or Dean or Blumenthal? I'm confused, because those draft dodgers were/are all elected folks that actually send folks to war, levy taxes, etc.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 1:59 PM

10:26 - But Bill Maher is an ACTUAL COMEDIAN. He does stand-up. That fat pumpkinhead Rush is a political commentator by trade, Bill is not. Bill tells jokes. That's the difference.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 2:48 PM

If I had a son...he'd look like Ted Nugent

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 3:15 PM

2:48pm, you have to understand this is a typical trope offered by shitty arguers with a heavy-handed agenda. Oversimplifying the opposition's argument into a straw man and then arguing against that. I'd go as far as to claim that Fox News and their copycats have perfected this art.

To say that all Rush did was call Fluke a "slut" over-simplifies that he basically spent several days railing against her implied promiscuity and that she wants us to pay for her actions, as if birth control was a pill-per-fuck prescription.

Look at the guy who spent 4 posts talking about DERN LIBRUHL DRAFT DOJJING. Bad enough he uses 3 anecdotal instances to make a generalization, bad enough he assumes that by calling out Nugent on his hypocrisy one sides with liberals, he also offers up these treatises without any examination of their stated opinions on Vietnam.

Anyways, Ted Nugent is a troll, not a theat.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 3:15 PM

Politicians hide themselves away, they only started the war. Why should they go out and fight, they leave that role to the poor.

Posted by Anonymous | April 20, 2012 3:44 PM

You go Ted! Thankfully people like you still exist in our great country. You live in reality unlike the tree hugging politically correct wimps commenting on this site. They'll be the death of a once great country if it keeps up.

Excuse me while I put on my leather boots and clean my shotgun. It's turkey hunting season! Anybody have any good tips for roasting a fresh turkey?

TED NUGENT FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!

And to all of you vegans. Don't eat that celery. It's a living thing too. Wouldn't want you to be a hypocrit.

Exactly and lets not forget Roger Ailes president of Fox "news" worked for Nixon & Ailes is just as dirty handed, paranoid, and sociopathic as carpet bomber of Vietnam tricky dick.

In 1991, Ailes convinced a syndicator to bring Rush Limbaugh from radio to television and became executive producer of the late-night show. The show debuted in 1992 and was eventually discontinued in 1996.

Roger Ailes has also been investigated for:

Encouraging Judith Regan to lie to Federal investigators about Bernard Kerik. In February 24, 2011, the NYT ran this story by Russ Buettner: "Fox News Chief, Roger Ailes, Urged Employee to Lie, Records Show"

*And last but not least Ailes was involved on phone hacking: 9/11 victims had mobiles tapped by News of the World reporters. The FBI was probing Murdoch 9/11 hacking as was the British authorities.

truth is you're scared, ted. scared shitless of what this country is. and you want it to be something else by defining patriotism and what being american is.

It's hilarious that anyone would even listen to this blowhard. Ted knows about as much about politics as he does music. which is nothing. He only has a big mouth. I read about him saying that jimi hendrix sucks and jimi page sucks and just about everyone but him is no good. He's a moron with a big mouth. Ted Limbaugh. He probably thinks that's a compliment. He shit his pants for a week and didn't bath so he could dodge the draft. Big man huh?and a real american. HA HA HA. He should be sent to war so he could find out what a shitty hunter he is when people shoot back. He wouldn't last a minute. someone would shoot him in his big mouth. probably someone from his own side. He doesn't even know hunting rules. Paying fines for his lack of hunting knowledge. It goes to show he fails at everything he tries to do. Turd.... I mean Ted.. Your a Fool Ha Ha ha Ho HO!!

Posted by truth | May 29, 2012 12:47 AM

Ted,
do us all a favor and give up that out of tune crappy noise you make. And join the army if you really think your good with a gun. Hopefully you'll get a gun up your ass and someone will chop your head off.
(sound familiar?) You have always been a self centered egotistic failure. And that's why you fit into the republican side of things perfectly. Thanks for showing people what republicans are all about. And thanks for making all of us democrats that want to make a better america look even better.
Every time you open your mouth you hurt your losing team.
P.S> your a piece of Shit.

Posted by truth | May 29, 2012 12:59 AM

Turd.... I mean ted.
I'm a guitar player and I used to play just like you after 3 days of playing.
I passed you up after about 4 days of practicing. What makes you think you know anything. Your a total fool. and you reinforce it every time you open your mouth. Go jump in a lake.
