Dr. John starts the last of his trio of concert events at BAM with "Funky But It's Nu Awlins," celebrating his hometown's songbook with fellow New Orleans musicians. The shows start tonight and conclude this Saturday(4/14).

90s urban indie zine chickfactor wraps up its 20th anniversary festivities with tonight's gig at The Bell House, featuring Stevie Jackson, Honey Bunch, A Girl Called Eddy, and The Softies.

Haha. From the looks of it, there's a lot going on on thursday. I'm such a fan of Bob Marley, one of the best artists of his generation.
